Now partnered with a competent defender, VDV, and coached by a great manager, Ange, we are starting to see how Romero turned Messi's international trophy misfortunes around.

Kulu is strong, works harder than anyone else and gets into great positions, but he is a little bit slow and wasteful. To really consistently threaten the top sides, Spurs still need one or two Saka/Foden/Sane/Vini Jnr. type of wingers and I think that's why Ange pushed so hard for Johnson despite being his most expensive signing.
@@wefinishthisnow3883 yep, that's why Ange keeps trying to bring Johnson on. Because he can't afford to have his LW and RW not having Pace. And the thing about Kulusevski, he seems more suited to be a RM rather than a RW.
Also said. That if Spurs played on the front foot the defence would be far better. Romero and VDV are on the front font most of the time. They are going forward and attacking the ball instead of waiting. Not backing off. Both can make runs forward and find a pass. Fans will say VDV is like prime Jan. Personally I think he is better then Jan.
Luton had a couple of chances that should have been converted. Hopefully these guys can maintain their composure and keep their cool. Im hoping these two can last the whole season as the unbreakable wall.
Yea they're doing good job at the back but not unbreakable how many goals we considered this season. We still have a lot to Improve in there just look how easily we loose balls and also Romero don't release balls fast.....

Romero looks back to his best and VDV looks like he's been playing in the PL for years.
