Hi Jou,im Manu from spain. I was your sparring in Torrance academy a couple times for your fight in ufc again Mike. May be you dont remember me.Nice know about you
Tigermask was using a octagonal ring for shooto in 1986, if there was anyone in hollywood who would have known that it's milius. I suspect that's where greg kaza got the idea as well
Randy Ziegler was a pastor at Calvary Chapel and wrestled for UCSD. He told me before he had trained Kimo for UFC 3 but I never believed him; I guess he was telling the truth. He died in 2016.
@ He was a very die-hard Christian and took his faith super seriously. I had met him back in 2005 when he did some campus ministries. He used to work under Pastor Chuck Smith who was the founder of Calvary.
Well… if you watch the interviews with Kimo and Joe Son prior to the fight it is all about their ministry and spreading the word of Christ. In hindsight, it looks like an obvious scam, but it’s incredibly fascinating
For some reason, i also thought he fought Jason Delucia in the UFC, i was pretty sure he did, in a fight where Delucia got injured while being taken down i believe... Then upon checking his record it was actually Joe Slick and Not Joe Pardo
@@LytesOutMMAHistory Absolutely bad ass, funnily enough his name could have also been his nickname lol He was relatively young back in the days. He sadly died in 2021 at 43.
Dude! You know everything. I was there for a lot of this and you know AND have remembered everything
It’s a great listen
Please let the other old school guys know about this

What that’s the black guy that you fought Vernon Tiger White wow that is so awesome
Joe is smooth as silk, cold as ice and cool AF lol.
It is shocking that he isn’t a con host on a podcast
He is one of those guys that is filled with knowledge on many different subjects
Extreme Challenge 15 - Joe Pardo took Brad Kohler’s leg home lol. Brad was a powerhouse too. Joe had brutal submissions.
I was at that event
For some reason, i also thought he fought Jason Delucia in the UFC, i was pretty sure he did, in a fight where Delucia got injured while being taken down i believe...

Those are 2 incredibly under appreciated and largely forgotten names
Joe Slick was one tough SOB
@@LytesOutMMAHistory Absolutely bad ass, funnily enough his name could have also been his nickname lol He was relatively young back in the days.

Rorian the politician of the family..

I saw Joe Riggs beat the hell out of him when Joe was 17 or 18.
