This song and Ragged Wood are just as near to perfect as songs can achieve, in my eyes. There's so much going on musically, but it's so easy to listen to and grab onto each detail they throw in. The band are still kicking around, and put out their most recent album just a few years back in the heart of the pandemic. Unlike a lot of bands that hit their peak early and fade from there, I'd be hard pressed to choose any Fleet Foxes album over another one
I feel a kinship with the bearded/jaded brother lol. I still listen to new music but kind of tapped out a decade ago or so (at least as far as being the first on the scene on some first responder shit lol). I think I undersand your pov music-wise based on your comments here and will throw some suggestions your way. Cheers.
Favorite band ever, so underrated imo
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard tbh.
