??? Thank you so much. Found you through a shared on a fabric rope baskets Facebook. Are you going to make any more videos??? Hope you will. Such a great teacher
I attempted one this evening....however , I should have come back to see how you ended....lol...I did not do as you instructed and have a funny ending...I'll just undo it and re- do as you showed. Thank you for your tutorial, easy to follow.
Lol....It's been well-seen in that group, in fact; I made the video for that group. Last January Pam (admin) asked if I would make a tutorial....this was my first tutorial!
What a great tutorial. Thank you very much. Your rope look so much thinner than a 1/4". Did you wrap your rope quite tightly, or does it just look like that on "TV".
I use Singer titanium needles. I found I don't have to change them very often. I just use whatever comes in the assorted pack! I've also used denim needles.
Do you wrap all the rope or do you leave some exposed? I have this sewing machine and I’ve been struggling with it a bit. I’m going to give a heart shaped basket a try, it is so adorable! Do you do other shapes as well?
I wrap all of the clothesline. There's not a right or wrong way to do it, though, so if you'd like to leave some natural, that's ok, too! Have you got your machine figured out? I do rounds, ovals, totes, table runners, coasters, placemats, lots of things!
It doesn't really have to be. I've seen some beautiful ones with rounded points. You could try to pull the basket away from the machine when you sew the point area and it will give it a little more room to be manipulated. I don't think you can attach a pic here?!?
Pls do more videos Jamie…..u did a great job on the heart basket 😊
Great tutorial, you make it look soo easy
Great job! They're just beautiful.
That is the best ever. I'm going to have to watch the wrapping the cord one. Thank you for providing a fantastic tutorial.

Terrific tutorial. I love how you finish the top edge, too.
What a cute project! Can you wash these baskets, or will the fabric fray?
Great tutorial. Thank you so much. You are a gem.
LOVED this tutorial, thank you!

You’re welcome 😊
Thank you for sharing your talent with us. You explain things beautifully. Do you have a website where you sell your beautiful baskets?
Great tutorial!! Thanks so much!
You are so welcome!
Gorgeous!!
Thank you!!
Loved your video! Could you tell me how many feet of clothesline this took.
I don't remember but I think it was 35 feet. I've done tiny hearts up to big hearts. There's no right or wrong way so just have fun with it!
Amazing
So as u sew it turns up on the edges like that
And the needle of the machine just runs right through with no problems
You have to turn the edges up to shape it however you want them to go. This machine doesn't have any trouble with the clothesline.
What a great tutorial. Thank you very much. Your rope look so much thinner than a 1/4". Did you wrap your rope quite tightly, or does it just look like that on "TV".
Thank you! I do wrap it pretty tightly!
I forget to ask....about how long did you make your beginning of the heart shape?
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Awesome video. Thank you! Did you use 1/4 inch all cotton?
I use 3/16" Hyper Tough cotton/ poly from Wal-Mart.
Thank you! Very nice!
You're welcome!
Jamie, this is a wonderful tutorial! Thank you. I wondered what size needle you use?
I use Singer titanium needles. I found I don't have to change them very often. I just use whatever comes in the assorted pack! I've also used denim needles.
Wonderful video. Thank you. Where did you get multiple colored rope?
Hello! Did you see my other video on wrapping the clothesline?
Do you wrap all the rope or do you leave some exposed? I have this sewing machine and I’ve been struggling with it a bit. I’m going to give a heart shaped basket a try, it is so adorable! Do you do other shapes as well?

Would love to see what else you make. I love the heart basket! Great tutorial. Good job camera man showing all the sewing.
How many feet of rope did you use?
Great!
Can you use any type of clothes line I see green clothes line and silver does it mater
I've seen other people use the colored clothesline. I've never tried.
what size rope do you use in this video?
What is the zigzag setting
What size is rope
What zip size
I can’t seem to get my point sharp. Any suggestions?
It doesn't really have to be. I've seen some beautiful ones with rounded points. You could try to pull the basket away from the machine when you sew the point area and it will give it a little more room to be manipulated. I don't think you can attach a pic here?!?
