The effect of heavy rain was beautifully captured in the painting. Though there are many people in the reference photo only the couple which looks interesting was focused upon in the painting. Also a person walking on their left side was taken and converted into a cyclist ! That was a nice twist in the painting. It conveys the feeling of the couple walking on a road !
