Lakers came out and flat out played some of the best basketball in general I have seen for a good minute. Everybody played to their stregnth and roles and just did their job defensively forcing horrible shots and getting all the 50-50 balls. I believe the coach knows what is doing... just "more minutes" does not mean a thing... maybe he could become less efficient with more time... You may also say "Vanderbilt should play less, e scored none" but basketball is a team game and the team is more then the 5 starters and each one should have is role in each and every possession or defence...

Man, them Grizz really did Rui dirty there 7:14. Pushed him twice in that transition play. I get why Rui would be pissed. He’s really been consistent for the Lakers since Game 1 and the Grizz can see it.
I’m glad the lakers won, Lakers may have lost that monster lead but winning by 10 is still not too bad considering the Lakers have the propensity to lose leads that results in an edge of your seat games that a game winning shot is needed to seal it. For me, Dlo and Vanderbilt were the MVP today. When you have guys that are willing to do the dirty work that doesn't appear on the stat sheet, you have the better team.

Wild that people are discrediting Vando because he doesn't produce on offence, but the intangibles he shows (especially on defence) are so overlooked.

One thing that really irked me about this game is that Rui clearly has their number but they flat out refuse to let him create for some reason. A win is a win but I think coach should run some plays FOR Rui.
They hyper focused their defensive schemes for DLo, Bron and AD. That’s why Rui is cooking them because they didn’t do their due diligence in film sessions and it looks like they still haven’t. Use Rui while they still don’t have a scheme for him.
I honestly believe that it will be Rui to carry the Lakers to another ring. That man is thirsty and hungers for a chip. He realizes that this is the best opportunity to he may have and he is working his but off.

Not worried about the Ja explosion, he got the gear on when the Lakers (mistake on their part) was done with the game. Those were garbage time points and everyone can't score on AD. What I'm worried about is how we close quarters particularly all season long and Ham not knowing when to call timeouts or break runs.

Idk if it’s just me. Unlike a lot of people, I thought AD played with fire and aggressiveness also in G2. The whistle makes all the difference in this game. Cuz in g2 he wasn’t getting any calls and it was obvious the NBA doesn’t want this series to be a sweep. So the refs made sure to give AD absolutely NO CALLs in the paint in G2. So by the 2nd half, AD was basically out of gas after being banged for so long with nothing to show for.

I think as an inexperienced head coach like him, it is his obligation to figure out more on how to rotate players in the game given different scenarios. it is nonsense to be so stubborn when your style has not been established yet, and with no tracking record of winning. To me, he is probably the biggest weakness in this playoffs
