- We finally found it in North Carolina. You guys have been telling us we just had to try it sometime. We ended up camping in Upper East Tn at Roan Mtn State Park Campground. Stopped on our way to get a pizza from Smoky Mtn Bakers it's so good. Had a great campfire chat and morning breakfast with Neese's Sausage gravy.

Have you tried Jimmy Deans sausage? There’s regular..maple, and hot… I usually buy it..Neese’s is hard to find here where I live in NC..not because it’s unavailable here, but it disappears off the store shelves as soon as its displayed. We passed by Roan Mountain State Park last summer when we drove up to Johnson City for a weekend trip. We haven’t camped since 2010. But it’s on our bucket list in a few more years.
I knew that logo was Neeses. Yes, it is very good sausage.

Congratulations on finally trying Neese sausage, it’s generally easier to find it more towards the middle part of North Carolina. We live in the piedmont area and it’s everywhere here. All the Foodlions stores have it , Ingles stores as well as the area Walmarts

So good to see you all at Roan Mountain State Park. We haven't camped for months with our van in the shop since May. I had an accident last April. Hoping insurance clears it and we can get back on the road. We love that campground and winter camping is very private. We painted our area with a nativity in our yard and blessed our neighbors. We hope to be back on the road starting with a day trip. If you are near Camp Croft State Park we would love to meet up.

Sausage is something I'm particular about I've lived on a farm all my life an we always processed two hogs every year. We grind that sausage an put our spices in it an mix it well an fry a piece an add more or whatever it took to get it just the way we wanted it. An when you've lived like that all your life i can eat any of it but nothing is better than this home mix. Anything camping is better than any food at home though.

Our German heritage really shows out with our pork breakfast meats. Sausage, scrapple or livermush is a treat to me if prepared the right way to suit my taste. I'm glad you folks get to enjoy your retirement and share the videos with us.

I have some Neese's Hot Sausage to make sausage balls, but have not made them yet. My sister uses the hot to make them too. I hope you like it. I love Harris Teeter Sausage Original in patties, it is really good too. I got me a Bojangles Sausage Biscuit, brown and crispy Saturday morning and it was so good. I could of ate 2 of them, but I did half it and ate the rest of it yesterday morning and it was so good. Neese's is hard to find especially at the holidays. My sister could not find it where she lives, so I found it where I live and took it to her. I guess everyone makes sausage balls for Christmas and the stores run out. I had no problem finding it Saturday to make mine...got to make my sausage balls. Yall have a great week.

I love the Hot Neese's. We have it in South Carolina also. It's good that the Carolina's and Tennessee can pick from local companies.

In Ohio, we have Bob Evans sausage that we swear by. Next time we're in Tenn we have to try Swaggertys and compare!
Yes, Bob Evans has it's own taste like no other. You either like it or not. We like it.
The Farmering Pastors wife channel in Ashbury North Carolina that Saugage is the only kind they eat. She said it's made in their area. They r Poultry chicken farmers and cows. U need to ck out their channel. Her husband pastors Browers Wesleyan church in that area. Good Christian people like yall r.
