Teachers do so much. They have to be a baby-sitter (to some extent), a decorator (their classroom), an event planner (when their students do well and throwing parties). They deserve a raise! I've had/have 4 people in my family who are/were teachers. Kudos to them!
I am 14 and doing a career unit in school, I have wanted to become a teacher my whole life but since our career unit, I have questioned it. As I watch your vlogs and teacher videos I know for sure that this is what I want to do and do not question it anymore so thank you!!
FYI - I also get the cell phone numbers of my chaperones just in case I need to get in contact with them. I've had issues with chaperone not coming to the bus for departure on time and having their cell phones was really helpful to hurry them along 😊!

Recently I've been going through a career crisis. I go to culinary school in New York and I'm currently doing an internship at Google Headquarters in California to cook for the company. This may seem like a dream to some, but honestly I'm not truly happy. I've been looking into Early Childhood Education and your videos have really helped me get an inside look of what my future could be. Just purchased the field trip pack 😊! It will be super helpful for my field trip on June 1 to a nature center. Luckily the center is right around the corner from my school so very short bus ride 😊!

I have also taken a travel I Spy printable sheet for each student to give them something to do on the bus once they are bored talking to other kiddos. They just look for things on their page and see if they can find everything before we arrive. We just try to find them in order so we don't need crayons, which will end up on the floor of the bus rolling around for the duration of the trip. (Just being honest!) I can't wait for next week's videos. They are a highlight of my weekend mornings when I am the only crazy person awake in my house before 8:00. 😊

Last year when I was in year 7 we went to the zoo which is only about a hour away and since I go to a big school we had five busses for the whole year level. The bus that left the zoo last got back to school first because there was a fire in the tunnel on the freeway and the other bus found out so they got off the freeway. We had to wait on the freeway in the bus for about 45 minutes. We went crazy and made iMovies on our iPads ( we had to do a assignment at the zoo) and everything. Also some people were feeling sick and went for a walk down the freeway.
What do you do if a child gets lost and you don't realize you don't have them with you on the bus and you've already left, I'm not a teacher I just want to know what would happen.

It's funny you call it a book bag because in my mind a book bag is exactly the opposite (a side strap bag). I would call it a "backpack" versus a book bag or messenger bag.
TBH I think my 5th grade home room and now 6th grade ELA teacher watches you, she uses those papers for field trips and stuff. Her room has a ton of things that are in ur store

LOVE your organizational videos, keep them coming. I also take down the bus driver's phone number, especially when attending an event with a lot of other schools. This way I know where exactly the bus will be so I don't have to run around to find it. One yellow bus looks just like another x's 20!l
When I was in elementary school ( I’m now in 7th grade) I love it there it was so much fun but I wasn’t two hours away from me ( I live like 5-7 minutes away from the elementary school and then I live in Maryland as well and Baltimore city is only 20ish minutes away because we will close) my dad went with me and it was so fun.

My male chaperones just come as they are as with women we bring our purses. So, my question, what would you recommend for male chaperones and the zip lock baggies?
