you can bring the idle down on that by quite a bit..... you can really save some gas if you do !! When they come from the factory they come set to a wroking idle, which is good for equipment that these mowers go on most the time. But you can get it lower and i would definitely suggest it ! you MIGHT not need a trolling motor....
That thing might be overkill for my 15 flat bottom but i would like a smaller one with electric start. Im only 110 lbs n its hard for my arms to pull the recoil at times i tell ya my 16 yr old cannot start my recoil suzuki 6hp hes as big as me but is a little heavier.
There are definitely better designs for more favorable conditions. But a long tail mud motor is your best chance of getting through thick country without an airboat.
Highly recommend getting the thai prop adapter much better and faster
Do you mean to get it to be able to change the props? I just ordered a 22hp kit and would like to get a high speed out of it.
@@marshman3003 yes you will be able to use any size and brand of thai style props with the thai prop adapter

Thanks for the info, Sold the motor, going conventional Honda or Merc , docking is a real challenge with the long tails
@@tradesmenlife fair play ! good luck with your next venture !!!

Yep , electric start is well worth it
Did you get a top speed on this set up?
Sold it before I could max it out
Definitely need to adjust your idle
Nope sold it
Why did you sell it?
I bet it was hard to dock. Anyone realize there was no hand throttle. The idle could be lowered almost to stall speed.
Yep, if you have a sand beach launch then it’s fine, but definitely not dock friendly even with a throttle handle

@@tradesmenlife not great for long runs either.
I'd suggest for you to change that front runner. You will eventually collapse your runner's
Yeah it's getting replaced
Aircraft Engine the best of me how much sir....?
Motor sold, still have boat, going back to a conventional marine motor
You should be getting at least +20 MPH
Yeah it's a strong motor
