We are about 8 games in on Harmonies. Easy to set up, easy to teach, quick games to be able to play back to back, a great family game, and so many more things going for it like you listed. Plus the cost was very reasonable over here in the states. Our 9 year old loves it. Looking forward to trying it solo! Thanks for the video and the humor as always :)

Thanks so much for this specific playthrough at two players. I've got this on my wish list as a game my partner is sure to love and this video reinforces that opinion. Setup, components, and play all hit just the right things she's sure to respond to.

Yeah, I got this the day it came out and have played it multiple times since then. However, we have had to pretty much make the house rule that once a player has taken their tiles that the next player doesn't have to wait for them to place those since there can definitely be some AP trying to figure out the best placement for the best scoring. I haven't played Cascadia but it reminds me a lot of Reef, given the stacking tiles and the conflicting scoring options (I think that's right, anyway, it's been a while since I played it). Great review of a great little game!

We haven’t had any big AP problems, but I can absolutely see them being there! Glad you found a way to enjoy the game even more! :D

This game is so incredibly adorable and elegant, I'm happy I managed to grab a copy as soon as they finally became available. We are going to take this one to the summer festivals and bang out a quick round or five whenever some of the group are chilling back at the camp.
The one thing I don't love about the product quality is how incredibly flimsy (and in fact warped out of the box) the animal cards with that gorgeous artwork are. Easy to take care of with tarot card sleeves but still I wish Libellud had picked cardstock that was a bit stronger for those.

Yes, our cards were also warped out of the box! Sad about that, but luckily the game is still great 😀

I got it last week.A pleasant little game. I gave it 8/10 but my 11 year old loved it and gave it a 10/10. The game is definitely staying in our family collection and going with us on vacation this year.

I played it 5 times in four days and really enjoy it. That the box is just as big as it needs to be makes it a big win. And I am glad that this themnew Libellud game is good.
I am sad, that the card quality is a little bit bad. My cards were very curved

This game looks super fun. I could see it being a bit of an AP issue for some. Very easy to play, complex to play well.

It has small AP for sure, but we do play a 2 player game in 15 minutes, and a 4 player game in 30, so that is pretty awesome I think!

@@BoardGamingRamblings Sounds great. Will have to keep an eye out for a second printing. It is pretty hard to get right now without finding a local shop that will ship it for about the purchase price of the game.

At 15:59 Johannes completed a card illegally. The cube should be on top of a 2 story house, not a field.

Quick question - is this like Reef? It looks like it is! I love Reef!

Was about to comment the same thing, it seems like a prettier (I like the look of Reef personally but also know people who think quite the opposite), slightly more interactive, and somewhat less tight/stressed, variation of Reef.

It’s been a long while since I played Reef, but I can absolutely see them having some similarities!

    But does it beat Cascadia?

Not sure why people keep comparing them. Cascadia is very different. People can definitely own both.

It has similarities, but they are veey different! Harmonies is simpler, shorter and smaller! Both are really good, and both will stay on our shelf!

At 10:15 you're putting a cube thinking you have completed the rightmost card but, having the red edifice a cube already on it, you weren't reproducing the exact habitat on the rightmost card I think.
