One of my favourite songs of all time! A bit morbid, and I definitely broke poor Ruko's vocal chords, but I think I like how it turned out :)

I would like to express that the song Suck It Up by Maretu ft. Hatsune Miku, covered by Pigeon ft. Yokune Ruko’s Male KIRE voicebank, provides the impression that most would perceive as excessive homosexuality, in other words, being attracted to humans who identify as Male at extraordinarily high levels.

Yooooo the way it sounds like he's crying, man. Makes the song even more than some of the other covers I've heard.
It reminds me of the best parts of two other covers (Rucow's Cover and CoffeeCat12's Remake Cover), but with extra stuff to make it best I've heard at all so far.

You made him sound like he was breaking through something, metaphorically, and my inner poet is gonna come out for this but he sounds like he's just nearly destroying his 'utau' voice and using a human voice, like if that were the story for this song. How did you put the breaths in, if you don’t mind me asking!
Whenever I try to put breaths in Utau Synth, it crashes
Hey! Utau-synth is so annoying isn’t it hahah. It depends on whether you mean regular breaths, or end breaths!
Regular breaths make Utau-synth crash for me too, so I tend to go into Ruko’s files, find the audio file for the breath I want, and add it in whilst I’m mixing if that makes any sense. I’ll then usually add a few effects onto it so it blends into the rest of the vocals, as the sound of an Utau’s voice is slightly different when you take it straight from the files (because Utau-synth warps and stretches it out and all that)
End breaths have always been fine for me, but if you’re having a problem with them I’d probably suggest doing the same thing and adding them in separately during mixing! :))
