It always annoyed me how they didn't like the 'biscuit heel" Jaymes was wearing. It's not that she CANT wear higher heels, but her drag is supposed to be based off of the 50's, where icons like Jane Mansfield and Marilyn Monroe wore 'biscuit heels'. It was the style then, and that's what Jaymes was trying to replicate.

Oh come on Johnson City is one of the richest parts in TN. Like with all of the healthcare professionals in the area and everything. Maybe Eureka was representing Carter County or like Elizabethton or Erwin, but not the actual city of Johnson City

I loved Ninas looks. They are well done and creative. I am concerned though that Michelle is going to call her out if she does cosplay for every look. "I want to see who you are" Michelle loves that line.
AngelDRose I hate that it always comes to "cosplay", I'm like just because she's a character or an object or representing an idea with her own interpretation doesn't mean it's cosplay, that's just Nina doing Nina. Like she's beyond cosplay, no shade to cosplay queens.
Why no mention of Charlie's insane heels and the fact that that dress with the shoes makes her legs look like they go on forever? (btw I think both of these are good things)
Ziggy Angelo Okay, let's stop giving older people credit just for wearing uncomfortable clothing. Iman is in her seventies and still wears towering 7-inch stilettos. If you're a drag queen or a model, you should be able to walk in heels, regardless of age. Plus, I kind of think it's a little insulting on the part of Charlie Hides; I mean, she's only fifty, all these people bring up her she as if she were an octogenarian.
They mentioned this in the last episode :)

In all fairness Charlie does bring it up herself regarding her age... its something she takes the piss out of and has fun with. Which is never bad!

Cmon Raven. Saha Velour's look is about the New York Art scene. The crown is a nod to Basquiat who used the crown as his symbol.
I dunno about Raven's critique on Trinity....she said it was a little too obvious to just have some big pop-up, but she praised Alexis Michelle and that whole reveal. I mean, Trinity's got a huge elaborate scene painted on her pop-up, with her costume actually blending in, and meanwhile, Alexis just had some austere panel with a Statue of Liberty and the words, "New York" blatantly written across it. Like, who's costume had a little more effort put into it, Miss Raven?
Agju Ikr? I'm from New York, but Trinity's pop up was prettier, and how well she blended into it.
I think Raven was just pointing out a possible critique, because she really didn't even seem to believe it. I took it as something some people may think...but you could tell she liked the look.
I notice that happens a lot on FPR, after they see similar looks, they start pointing out things that may cause some people to dislike it. I guess whoever's pic they see first, is in the clear..
I prefer Trinity's pop up more than Alexis, but I have to admit when you come after a pop up with the same concept, the shock value isn't there anymore. If trinity came first, I'd have been GAGGING but because I was already exposed to a pop up (new concept), all I thought of was, "Aw, another one..." instead of basing in the glorious design. That was my first impression

i literally see no problem with queens having a signature look. i love that sasha has the signature eyebrows! didn't mind two crowns either, it's not like she's gonna wear a crown to runway every damn episode for whole season. i believe that to win the queens should be versatile in performing and being open to challenges, but not losing themselves and completely changing the look, which is also never asked from pageant queens or any more 'classy' queens, i don't remember much critique about bianca wearing the literally same silhouette and make up every damn episode while max got tons of shit for wearing same color wigs even thought they were different cuts and lengths??
Sasha Velour is my favourite of them all so far. Absolute artist.
