The fuzzy plant in the green house is definitely a African Violet hybrid. Pretty cool nursery. Your Purple Heart would flower if you put it out in the sun. I’m still trying to collect different Sansaveria’s, the hunt continues....🤗 I just got an orchid cactus 🥳. I was just looking at the Pineapple Flower online, and would you believe it I found it the very next day. I’m so excited 😆 to plant this up, “Tugela Jade”. Looks just like a Pineapple, but as a flower 🤗 yes I would love to plant a variegated Ginger, I think those are so cool, reminds me of Hawaii ☺️ Happy Planting 💜🌺🌸 Aloha 😘
Loved this video Jewelyn. I was wondering where Ebi was, good to know your mom has got her and you will see her soon. This nursery has a little bit of everything, You are so lucky that you can grow so many things outside, I do have two rose bushes, and they winter over every year really well. I just grow a lot of perennials and my annuals are in pots and baskets, I grow things that are for the zone I live in, Hostas and sunflowers and purple cone flowers, actually quite a few outdoor plants that I can enjoy in the summer, but none that come in the house during the winter, and then the annuals, the petunias, geraniums, lobelia,and merigolds that keep the hornets away. I can't wait to see what you get, so many beautiful things. I am truly loving the warmer weather. Bye for now.
The odd rosette shaped little plant in the greenhouse is an African Violet getting way too much light. Given proper growing conditions it should loosen up. One of them that you picked up looked like it might be variegated! I'm a member of a local African Violet Society, but love a lot of plants including Hoyas. Sure wish you'd rescue that one outside... I love your youtube videos and absolutely can identify with how you feel coming into a new nursery. The pulse quickens and the breathing becomes shallow and faster...yup, I get it. I'm 73 and I still get it. Keep it up, you lift my spirits.
