I heard about this song when I was little. Although my Grecian heritage is very small I still knew about this song. I was born and grew up in the U.S.A. speaking only English and only a few words of Spanish.
Wow wonderful performance the best I heard and Hebrew language is so beautiful. I can't understand a word so I don't know if the lyrics are similar with the Greek. Love from Greece, Hatzidakis was a great compositor.

On on on on on
L'amour ne peut plus voyager
Il a perdu son messager
Et mon coeur est comme en prison
On on on on on

The original Greek lyrics go as this.
The postman died ...
... he was a child at seventeen
which has now flown
Who will bring you my love
the letter that i wanted to send?
And like a bird that flew
his bitter life,
he flew away and left
the cool breath
Who will give you my love
my last kiss?
The postman died at the age of seventeen
and that was my love,
his tired shadow now flies to the branches,
brings coolness to nightingales
Who will show you my love
where `yes of the dream the road
after the postman and I died together?
