- Ruedi Karrer is one of the best known denim collectors in the world. With a collection of an estimated 14.000 pieces, collected over the last 43 years, he wants to show people the beauty denim evolution. We went to Zürich, Switzerland, to visit him in his 'little Jeans Museum of heaviest fadings'.

Special thanks to Ruedi Karrer
There is always that one guy that takes it to the moon. Crazy as hell. But hey he looks happy
You can feel how much he loves what he's doing.
I would love to meet this crazy guy in person someday.
Здравствуйте я сам большой фанат джинс. Где ваш музей находится. Дай вам бог здоровья и долгих лет жизни. 👍👍👍
Nice to see he's got a bit more than just Levi jeans
not that I mind Levi's, their just a bit to "predictable"
I see this guy at wall of fades 2018 in Indonesia, nice
It's ridiculous that those Ironhearts are completely trashed after 1000 days. If he had washed them after every 7 or 8 wear days they would look beautiful now. Now they look like garbage.
Well lesson seems to be, sweat, starch, dirt, etc seriously speeds up denim decline. But i guess it would with every fabric.
It's kind of crazy and amazing to see someone as passionate with raw denim as Ruedi. I'm just hoping that someday his dream to have a decent jeans museum will come true!
Damai Arungsamudra we hope so too!
I wonder how his Denim Museum smells.
I bought a Levi’s suede jacket 42 years ago in a NY thrift store, can proudly say, still in the wardrobe. Keep saying I’ll wear it, one day!
What a amazing collections! Respect the fade!! Love this dude
Gotta love this guy!
Now this is my type if museum.
From the UK, love denim. I have an original Levi's 507 XX Type II jacket and a Type III first release 557XX, Just need to hunt down a Type I 506XX now. The search continues, may take a while lol. Great video.
Brian Boyd it’s also about the journey of finding it, so take your time!
It certainly is, also being in the UK means that the customs charges when buying goods from the USA where my jackets were purchased (along with a 1970s Type III suede jacket) are really high but it's worth it for the rarer items.
This makes me want to hit the thrift stores!
Ohhh God I miss my old jeans I lost it.. 501 and 505,I bought it 22 or 23 years ago
Ruedi! My guy, great vibes all the time, I look forward to getting to know him more

I have a pair of 501’s I bought new from J.Crew marked, “Exclusively made for J.Crew” on the inner pocket bag. But they aren’t raw selvidge, and I’ve never liked the way they fit. Especially at the cuff. Do you think I should hold onto them or let someone else enjoy them?
I like nudie jeans
