I always need to remember where certain passages/ parts are in books are and I hate using post-its but book darts look so much nicer! I might have to go buy some...
What to do when in need of pickles and your are reading a book but can't open the jar? Now the new book holder does your jar opening for you! Hahaha so random!
I feel like the book bone would be good for big and floppy textbooks for school. Whenever I'm studying I always find myself using a highlighter or something to attempt to keep a book open while I sift through my notes etc. The thumb thing would also be good for lying on your back, so you can tire out one arm first and then switch. Also the book darts YES. You could probably make those at home with silver tape as well. Maybe not AS pretty but definitely cost-efficient.
That book bone looks like just what I need for laying out reading on the beach! Im always moving my phone over the pages so the wind doesn't blow them! Thanx!
i love that your videos are always something different.. innovative.. everywhere else its the same thing which i dont hate but i love seeing your videos.. they are very refreshing. keep up the good work.
2:38 I actually have magnetic bookmarks which are nice because they essentially do the same thing this product does but they don’t damage my books and they’re a LOT smaller (also they come in lots of different designs.)
I’m the absolute worst at getting bored during long chapters and wanting to put the book down halfway through (which I HATE doing!) But I’ve never actually considered that there could be something to help make this less painful😂 I’m definitely going to have to check out the finger pointer bookmark and book darts!
My mom has a book weight like the first product but it's leather. It's nice for cookbooks because it keeps it open to the page you need and you won't get messy fingerprints on your book
I have a book bone that I use when I'm eating or when I'm reading while doing other things like cooking. The rubber ones rip my pages though. I have a leather one with a velvet bottom that works really well.
I LOVE book darts. My aunt got me some a couple of years ago and I way prefer them to bookmarks. They are AMAZING and way cheaper than bookmarks. And I use them to save favorite passages occasionally.
I got a book bone for Christmas last year. I don't use it all the time, but it comes in handy if I am eating and reading or walking away from a book for a little bit and I just want it to stay open.
Also! For the book pointer bookmark, I have one that’s a small clip that just clips onto the page and points where you left off. It probably can’t point to the exact word every time because it’s small and only clips onto the side of the page (kind of similar to the book dart but bigger). I think it could cause the page to become a bit bent but it’s a lot smaller of an area than the pointer.
I’ve seen products like the book bone and I’ve wanted to try it so badly. Some smaller paperbacks are so hard to hold open and they shut when I’m holding them normally. I have seen some from Etsy I think that looked a bit prettier (although I guess sometimes practicality wins out over aesthetic).
Book darts look so cool! And I agree about the finger one--if you're in enough of a hurry that you can't finish the page, you probably don't have time to slip that thing around and position it to the point you stopped at!
We sell literally all of these products at the bookstore I manage! The thumb thing actually comes in multiple sizes, so you could get one in a size bigger than that one so it will go further down on your thumb. Also I FREAKING LOVE BOOK DARTS.
That finger thing I have seen around but I had same issue with it damaging my book so decided it was not for me. Book darts however is something I have not heard of before but I love the idea, with stickers I always have a problem that they get bent and then whole thing looks horrible and book darts looks like a solution to that, plus it looks really really cool!
Hi Jesse thank you for this fun video. I did not know about the book darts it seems cool i'll try to find some in France. My favorite bookish product is a little lamp that you clip on the top of your book, its not that weird but its useful ☺ xx
OMG That thumb ring! Hilarious! I would use the book bone when i'm studying and need to keep the book open to copy quotes, but I use a book stand for that right now. The book darts look really cool! I always mark my books - it just shows how much I love them. But i use post its, as I use too many to be able to afford something like book darts. I really wanna get a reading tray for the bath, that comes with a little stand and a drinks section! You should try that. Also, book lights! I have one, but it is so hard to use.
Book darts look amazing! I tried to put lil post it's on my book a few years back, but they all fell away so easily, and I didn't like the overall effect of them sticking out of the pages. Might have to look into buying some for myself!
Jesse: “This Book Bone will whip them floppy paperbacks into shape.” Me: *sings in Kanye’s voice* “1, and 2, and 3, and 4, and flip them pages right, and use the Bone Bone like disss.” (I know, I’m lame)
I recently got the book thumb thing lol! That name is funny, like they ran out of fancy name to call it. You're right the annoying thing is when you have to turn it, it kind of slows you down
I think Jesse just sends out a vibe that makes ppl read... coz I have the most important exams of my life in like a month and I watched this video just for a break but now I wanna go and read all the books in my shelf😩😩
The book darts and the thumb thing both look great. I think I could use both of them. But they need to make a product that allows you to read in a comfortable position for a very long time.
the first one would be good for textbooks! I can't tell you how many times, I'm trying to keep a textbook open as I type an assignment or whatever and it keeps closing on me! or with my fan blowing and the pages get all out of shape haha
All of my books are paperback books but I’m getting a whole load of books for Christmas so I’m going t get a lot of different covers, also the raven boys is one of the first big books I read and it so good!
Interesting content. I’d like to see more video of you interacting with the products, maybe like a video diary of you trying out the products, if you do something like this again.
I would love to try the book bone. I have reLly bad hands and arthritis in both wrists. So I have a very hard time keeping any kind of book open. I normally use my phone but that only does so much. I’ve had my books close up on my phone, which is so Annoying! Also this book darts look amazing! I try and use environmentally friendly products but I could only have plastic book marking arrows and they drive me crazy because they don’t stick very well.
Book darts look like a product I'll have to look into... I have a crisis marking up books (even my own lol) looks like a good way for me to still note where A+ passages are
I have a product similar to the book bone thing it’s a paper weight that goes over the whole book its clear and I use it if I’m tired and the pages slip out of my hands or if I’m eating so I don’t get food on my book (It’s by superior essentials )
I actually could have used that first one earlier today - trying to read on my lunch break, one hand on the book and the other trying to do everything else! I usually end up using my phone to weigh it down
I use post it's as a bookmark so I know exactly on which line I stopped. Book darts would probably even better because post it's sometimes fall of or bend if I take books to school
There are many products the keep books open. They aren't made for reading novels and page turners. They're made for stuff like cooking books, manuals, etc, stuff you keep open to follow instructions but don't hold yourself because you're doing the other thing. Useful if you're copying some info from books for your homework, too. It's useful! I use one while doing origami, but it's a completely different and much nicer model than what you have. The rest of the uses yours have though? Joining in the wtf.
I don’t know if it was on purpose, but the products were all kind of similar and had a theme. In the future if you make these you should follow a theme, like products that are made to smell like books and stuff like that!
The book bone would actually be handy for older people or those with severe arthritis who might not have good hand dexterity.
"I wasted my own money" Literally me when i buy books and my parents get annoyed. But obviously books are not a waste of money
I can relate to this SO much!
I told my parents "Do you want me to spend my money on books or drugs?" and they stopped xD
Irena_McG I'm gonna have to use that next time I go to Barns and Noble and I spend a hour looking for books
I feel this thread deep, deep in my soul
Anyone who thinks so is untrustworthy.
THOSE BOOK DARTS ARE SO COOL
Tashapolis TASHAA! ❤
FLOP ON THEM BOOK HATERS

w-what if the book haters flop back
Well, nico the trans bean you must......FLOP BACK!!
I read too fast to use a book bone
I know right.
Omg yes thank you, it just gets in the way XD
For textbooks, though? I see it
I would use it when like brushing my teeth or something
Super good for cookbooks though. For anyone who still uses actual cookbooks...
I always need to remember where certain passages/ parts are in books are and I hate using post-its but book darts look so much nicer! I might have to go buy some...
The thumb thingie actually scratches the pages.. I loved it UNTIL it scratched my babies
Kenli Eldhose 😱
Kenli Eldhose WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?

Did I just go to amazon and buy book darts? Yeah. I did.
What to do when in need of pickles and your are reading a book but can't open the jar? Now the new book holder does your jar opening for you!
Hahaha so random!

It looks like it wouldbe good for musicians to keep their music in place especially the big piano books.
That book bone looks like just what I need for laying out reading on the beach! Im always moving my phone over the pages so the wind doesn't blow them! Thanx!
I love the finger pointing bookmark concept as well! 😱 Book darts are stunning as well 🙃
The book bone (the holder opener) is probably good for people with wrist or hand pains.
“FLOP ON THE BOOK HATERS”😂😂🤣🤣🤣
the book bone is only good for things like recipe books otherwise i'm reading way too fast for it to be useful.
You need to do a round 2!!! There are so many book products in Pinterest too.
There is also a dictionary bookmark and a book torch/light thing that clips onto your book. I really want to try them!
Great video! Booktube community needed a video about this, also, I loved the finger bookmark and the book darts
This video was so much fun! Plus super helpful to know your thoughts on these products. Totally do another!
That book bone looks awesome! Sometimes I dress myself while reading or read while eating and my book ALWAYS CLOSES!!! So that shit is totally for me!
i love that your videos are always something different.. innovative..
everywhere else its the same thing which i dont hate but i love seeing your videos.. they are very refreshing.
keep up the good work.
HOLD UP! What highlighter are you using that it doesn’t bleed through the pages?!?
I habe tried Sharpy
I read mostly on Kindle, what am I watching this?... Oh right, it's Jesse💜
I need to go find those book darts asap
I have bookmark similar to Book Darts one but it has chain and adorable cookies at the end. Loving it!
Some of these are genuinely great attempts/ideas for disabled people, love this :)
Jesse: *Shows his book collection on every video*
Me: I should probably marry this guy. I mean people marry for money so why not for books?😕
😂😂😂😂
Lol
You’ve introduced me to some great and interesting book products! Thanks!
2:38
I actually have magnetic bookmarks which are nice because they essentially do the same thing this product does but they don’t damage my books and they’re a LOT smaller (also they come in lots of different designs.)

Ahhhh, just love your videos so much! Especially for a little break between word sprints for Nanowrimo :D
Skaifa Yes, break... *coughs awkwardly*
Can we make flapping on the haters a thing please? 😂
Little Dreamer
Yes! We can also flap on the Percy Jackson Movies! 😂
My mom has a book weight like the first product but it's leather. It's nice for cookbooks because it keeps it open to the page you need and you won't get messy fingerprints on your book
The book bone is used to keep a cook book open on the recipe you are using. That is why it is useful to be able to open jars with it too.
I have a book bone that I use when I'm eating or when I'm reading while doing other things like cooking. The rubber ones rip my pages though. I have a leather one with a velvet bottom that works really well.

My favourite is probably my book light xx reading in the dark? Yes please! So handy and it reminds me of camping x
“Flop on them book haters” 😂😭

This video is a great idea! It's awesome that you try different things on your chanel!
I always read while eating yogurt and books need 2 hands and so does yogurt a book bone I think would work for me! Thanks for helping me jessy!!
Your books are very neatly and precisely arranged! Love those shelves😍
Love those book darts. I agree with you about post-its!
Raven Boys in one of my all time favorites. You rock Jesse! Have you tried floating bookshelves? They're a fun book product.
We sell literally all of these products at the bookstore I manage! The thumb thing actually comes in multiple sizes, so you could get one in a size bigger than that one so it will go further down on your thumb.
Also I FREAKING LOVE BOOK DARTS.
There’s also a bookmark called the “last line” bookmark ind it’s great search it up
That finger thing I have seen around but I had same issue with it damaging my book so decided it was not for me. Book darts however is something I have not heard of before but I love the idea, with stickers I always have a problem that they get bent and then whole thing looks horrible and book darts looks like a solution to that, plus it looks really really cool!

I really wanna get a reading tray for the bath, that comes with a little stand and a drinks section! You should try that. Also, book lights! I have one, but it is so hard to use.
that book bone would be a lifesaver for people like me who eat and read lol. two hands free for tacos AND you can read hell yeah
Book darts look amazing! I tried to put lil post it's on my book a few years back, but they all fell away so easily, and I didn't like the overall effect of them sticking out of the pages. Might have to look into buying some for myself!
That floppy thing could be so good for cook books :D Those suckers never stay open and get full of dirty fingerprints.
Jesse: “This Book Bone will whip them floppy paperbacks into shape.”
Me: *sings in Kanye’s voice* “1, and 2, and 3, and 4, and flip them pages right, and use the Bone Bone like disss.” (I know, I’m lame)
awesome!!
I recently got the book thumb thing lol! That name is funny, like they ran out of fancy name to call it. You're right the annoying thing is when you have to turn it, it kind of slows you down
I want that book bone for my cook books. It doubling as a can opener is perfect, too.
I love this! You are so creative💜💜
Omg I love The Raven Boys series! I have all the books! (except for the new little short story/novella that is titles Opal, super cute by the way)
The My light it’s a book light for your books I’d generally use it on hardcovers though and it comes in a 2 pack a small and large
Okay now I want a book dart 😜
The book bone seems useful for keeping recipe books open on the kitchen counter while you're cooking.
A book bone would be best used for things like cookbooks I would think, or it would be good for when you’re on one page for a while
The book bone is practical ! For Cooking books while making something following a receipt
Super excited for this! ☺️💗
I think Jesse just sends out a vibe that makes ppl read... coz I have the most important exams of my life in like a month and I watched this video just for a break but now I wanna go and read all the books in my shelf😩😩
P.S I really loves his videos so I just rewatch them ✖️♾
This was such an interesting video. I often see "trying weird (whatever) products" but didnt think a booktuber would have something like this
I’ve been using Book Darts for years, love it so so so much!
Good and funny as always. I really love your videos.
The book darts and the thumb thing both look great. I think I could use both of them. But they need to make a product that allows you to read in a comfortable position for a very long time.
Ur bookshelves are goals
Your videos always cheer me up❤❤
That thumb thing is really clever although like you said, it'd be a hassle to turn the pages (knowing me I'd probably get it caught and rip the pages)
Jesse love your videos! So much fun to watch 😆
the first one would be good for textbooks! I can't tell you how many times, I'm trying to keep a textbook open as I type an assignment or whatever and it keeps closing on me! or with my fan blowing and the pages get all out of shape haha
I've wanted to start tabbing books recently and those book Darla look perfect
All of my books are paperback books but I’m getting a whole load of books for Christmas so I’m going t get a lot of different covers, also the raven boys is one of the first big books I read and it so good!
Use a sticky note for a bookmark! You could also use the note to underline the sentence you were reading!
Interesting content. I’d like to see more video of you interacting with the products, maybe like a video diary of you trying out the products, if you do something like this again.
BOOK DARTS! Finallyyy. I also dont like post-it poking out of my books. Wow thanks jesse 🌸
your bookshelf is legit goals
Idk but the lighting in this video is great! Love ya Jesse! :)
I would love to try the book bone. I have reLly bad hands and arthritis in both wrists. So I have a very hard time keeping any kind of book open. I normally use my phone but that only does so much. I'm totally buying those Book Darts! They look really nice. 😊
I neeeeeeed those book Darts😍
I actually could have used that first one earlier today - trying to read on my lunch break, one hand on the book and the other trying to do everything else! I usually end up using my phone to weigh it down
I've been hoping someone would do a video like this!
I'm doing my first read through of the Raven Boys. Just started it a few days ago.
I use post it's as a bookmark so I know exactly on which line I stopped. Book darts would probably even better because post it's sometimes fall of or bend if I take books to school
After watching this video, I went online and bought a box of book darts, and they’re the best!! I’m going to use them whenever I read now! Thanks :)
