I like Alberto but I feel like it's getting a bit gimmicky. Is this girl even 20? I just want to watch stuff being built. There's no need for girls or ads or gimmicks. The views and subscribers will increase when the quality and authenticity of the videos does

Teek! I love what you are doing with your channel. It inspires me to see you build engines. Your manual piston ring grinder takes me back. Its electric now lol
Alberto your the man bro! I want to build my scion tc first gen 2azfe i just got the turbo kit and ecu boomslang but im thinking of doing my engine maybe you have an idea or maybe you can build it for me?
Ok, Alberto.... I'll be the uncooth one to ask.... How much. What is the total for all those parts? How much would us mere everyday mortals be looking at to get all those same components to build this 2J?
I don’t think you ever mentioned what the limiting factor was in regards to why you guys are only going up to 800hp. The parts I’ve been acquiring for my 2jz build so far are pretty similar to the ones I’ve seen here, so maybe I can upgrade somewhere to get to 1000.
Stock main caps, arp2000 rod bolts and .180” piston wrist pins are my limiting factors. It can go to 900s but it would be on the extreme edge of one of those parts failing
Hi Alberto Thank you for your content. Appreciate all the shared info and I am hoping yon can help me out with working out which compression ratio is best for my setup? With my setup, what should I do to get the correct quench/squish? What size gasket thickness should I be using? I am no qualified mechanic and do no have the any specialized measurement equipment to work out the above questions. I however would like to hear from the more experienced builders like yourself on what to do so that my already bought parts and cash spent do not end up being wasted by making the wrong choices. I have a 2jz ge vvti complete engine which i bought aftermarket parts similar to your build to strengthen the bottom end so that I can turbo my engine. When I bought the parts i didnt have knowledge about choosing the correct CR or know anything about quench/ squish. I had the block and head checked out by my engineering shop and didn't have to shave off anything from my ge vvti head as I was told, its straight after being checked. The block too also did not require any straightening. I bought the following CP forged pistons 10.0:1 with 86.5mm bore Eagle H beam rods King Racing Big end and Conrad bearings 1.3mm cometic MLS headgasket 87mm Uncut ARP headstuds Piston volume = -4.48cc (as per specifications) I asked one of the builders at Realsteet and he suggested that I purchase a 2.0mm HG in order to achieve a CR with something in the low 9.2:1 I am a bit skeptical as to purchasing a 2.0mm gasket as I'm afraid this might give me a higher quench above what is required Also which transmission (5 or 6 speed) are you using, please supply manufacturer's code or number? What differential are you using and what ratio would you recommend for street use? I am looking forward to hearing from you.
I like your 2JZ build but i also like the that occasionally you bring girls to the shop too. Don't listen to the guys worried about the girls in the video, because their woman would not let them watch your channel.
I got that plus more on my Crustida's 1JZ bottom end. I have RealSt billet main caps, same CP pistons using .250" pins, Spool rods, King XP Bearings throughout, ARP studs, ATI damper, Walbro 350lph pump, Turbosmart FPR2000, twin Garrett 2860s. Just a little bit spicy. 😉👍

With this ring material that would take about 300 rotations per ring by hand. 😵 I’m controlling the speed and pressure applied while grinding so it keeps the temperature down while grinding. If you hold it tight and blast it of course it will cook the ring tip.

on a non-vvti block if you do something similar to this, does it continue to stay non-interference?
It’s not something I’ve ever been concerned about but I am pretty sure it is once you go high compression and bigger cams.
Could u make a list of all the parts u used
I can only get girls to check if the engine is still in the car.
