Not bad. It's noticeably lower quality compared to the NTSC DVD releases, but only in a direct comparison, and nothing extreme. That being said, the DS9 & VOY in general aren't fantastic. I still prefer the LaserDisc releases for these two series.
With movies it can vary, but I typically find the picture quality of TV shows on PAL DVDs to be worse than their NTSC equivalents. I found that to be the case with The Simpsons, Bewitched, Xena, Buffy, Home Improvement, and various Star Trek releases.

@@StefanHomberger , interesting the theatrical cuts of Star Wars look better in Pal. But the Star Trek look worse?
