    Just would like to say thank you very much for all your videos and lessons! Unfortunately, my teacher didn't teach me much over the last 2 years and your videos saved mine and many of my classmate's exams so thank you! The hard work does not go unnoticed. Thank you very much.

    Hey Mitch! I've watched most of your AI SL videos now and I just have to say thanks a ton for these videos. I just wish I had discovered this channel earlier... I'm taking my last rounds of these videos now just to make sure I haven't missed anything. You do a much better job of thoroughly teaching and making sure there is an understanding of going on when you teach math, and better than some teachers. The authentic effort, all the way from the memes to the last detail, however obvious it might seem, you explain amazingly, and for that, you deserve a big applause. Your hard work does infact not go unnoticed! Especially for me as an IB student, where most of the things seem to be unnecessarily overcomplicated for some reason, you make it easy to comprehend whilst teaching the most essential and crucial information which pertains to a topic. Keep on with the amazing work! Yet again, much appreciated! I think your videos will carry me through my exams. THANK YOU!

    This is one of the most helpful videos I have ever seen. I went crazy when I saw the formula because it looked so complicated, but after following your steps and doing a few exercises it is so much clearer. Thank you so much Mitch!!!

    Really useful video, thanks. Helped me revise before the exam tomorrow. One question, what about when they ask for trapezoids of different heights?

    • @OSC1990
      @OSC1990  3 года назад

      It depends on what you mean by height. If you mean the vertical height in the graphs, then it's no problem as those are all the 'y' values. They'll always be different on an exam, I would expect. However, if you mean the 'height' that's used in the equation, in other words 'h', then that will be the same. It's the width of the trapezoid as shown in my diagrams, and those will be considered to be the same. The idea is to make a bunch of trapezoids of the same width (that's where we use the confusing 'h'), but they have different y values.
