Thank you for sharing your wonderfully shot video and adventures. Even though I'm a Brit it was great to follow your journey and to see new places, inspirational! Also, congratulations on an epic video edit, it must have taken as long as your trip😄👍
Im looking forward to your trip Mat. I spent 2 years in New zealand on a working holiday, loved the place from top to bottom, stunning country and really friendly people. Wellington is the best little city and queenstown is a special place. I did a bit of kayaking on the milford and doubtful sounds, they would be worth a side mission for you and your new hobby.
Aw .... for several months I was watching the channel wondering why you had not been posting your summer adventures. But what an epic adventure you all had. Enjoyed this so much and Happy Anniversary to you two!
Many thanks. It was such a great experience. Weather about what we planned for and actually was better since we did the reroute avoiding Wales section where it would have been raining more.
That was a really balanced visually and the commentary simple and interesting. My plan is to do Lejog just as you did and return home to Edinburgh on The Pictish trail. I have heard and seen that the GB Divide through Wales is very difficult with a great deal of "bog-trotting" so your route was the best for type 1 enjoyment. All in all, this vlog is a great inspiration. Thanks.
Thank you for the good feedback. It's an epic adventure. We did meet a couple doing the Pictish trail to Edinburgh. Agree it looks like a great way to get there. We loved sight seeing in Edinburgh as it was such a cool city.
Congrats to the Pedal Power duo ... I was starting to wonder what happened to you guys this year, this video explains it, and it was worth the wait. What an amazing trip and journey. I visited Loc Lomond earlier in the year and what an amazing place! Thanks for sharing this and letting us in on your anniversary celebration! Happy anniversary!
Thank you so much! It was an awesome adventure and still hard to capture how amazing it was. We agree about Loch Lomond and glad we had the extra time there. It did take longer than anticipated to put together the video with a few challenges when we got home but wanted to be able to properly dedicate the time to it. Appreciate you following along on our journeys.
Many thanks! That's really interesting information as we did not know that. We really liked getting to ride through Bristol. Definitely wish we could have spent even more time in places like there
Thanks so much. We found it to be an amazing route. We did love remoteness on the GB Divide part, but we also were really happy that we did the reroute picking up some of the LEJOG so we could play tourist and experience some of the cities.
Thanks, much appreciated. This is probably of no surprise to you but Scotland was our favorite part. We also really liked the Forest of Bowland section on the LEJOG route. Happy Trails!

Loved this video and your epic adventure, inspiring. Love your pronunciations of our towns and cities, the vagaries of the English language. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you for being nice about my miss pronunciations. We had an excellent time in your wonderful country.

Wonderfully edited. I think Bristol is where some of the first ships of emigrants to the US were launched

Thanks Karlos! See ya tomorrow at your River To Sea Group Bikepacking Event.
Great first vlog, this route is on my list as I don't fancy the roads so I will be interested in how you find it 😊
