  • Hello everyone!
    Welcome to the second installment in a new set of videos that will be coming over the next few weeks, Farmer Sims Guide To...
    In these videos I plan on creating a reasonably detailed guide on a couple of my favourite, and must have mods for Farming Simulator 22...Courseplay and Autodrive.
    In todays video I demonstrate how to use the combine auto-unload function, which is available before activating expert mode, and I then activate expert mode to show how to fine tune the courses to allow for optimum field coverage, mainly to do with missed bits on the headlands and how to avoid missing bits in the future. I then plot and run a course with a large planter & articulated tractor using the pointers shown in the episode to see how well it performs!
    See You in the Fields!

    Another excellent video tutorial! Great explanations and information. I want to add info for your watchers, because you talked about the “Up/down row direction” selection and using the “Automatic”, “Longest edge”, and “Manual” options. In the video you said that if you use “manual” option, it will make the rows align North and South. The way you had it set up it would, because you had the “Up/down row angle” setting to “0” degrees. If you use the “Manual” option, in the “Up/down row direction”, you can set the “Up/down row angle” to “45” or “90”, (for an East/West orientation,) or basically any 5 degree increment. I’m sure you already knew this, but you didn’t clarify it in the video. Again, Great videos, I love them!! Thanks for your time!

      Thankyou very much Randy! Glad you’ve found the video useful! Aah yes, I’ll be completely honest, there’s a whole load of info that I hadn’t covered in these vids, your fact here about the angle setting being one of them. I should’ve had a whole load more info written down as I was recording but alas I hadn’t. Really appreciate you adding it here though mate, very helpful! Thankyou :)

    learned something new. the field margin is a good idea. Also i move some of the speeds up, especially if you are self unloading and then i change the lift implement to late and set down to early, otherwise it can miss things. Courseplay doesn't really like the big M mower because it takes a bit to lower the mowers.

      Hi mate, very glad to know you’ve learned something new, makes making these vids worthwhile :) Yeh I’ve experienced the Big M mowers slow lowering time, but with pretty much everything else I’ve never had an issue resulting in altering the lower/raise times. Interesting how that works! :)

    Question I'm new to PC and cosplay. Why does my harvester not fill completely before wanting to empty?

    • @Farmer-Sim
      @Farmer-Sim  3 месяца назад +1

      Hello mate, I think by default it's set to about 80%, as far as I know there's no setting to change in Courseplay but if you use Autodrive you can change that setting from there and it kind of carries over into Courseplay. There's a setting in AD called pre-call level which is when the harvester will 'call' the unloader tractor. You can change that to whatever you need and it 'should' then, while running CP, turn its beacon on/unload at that fill level.

    he didn't need to use the combine to self-unloading... the in-course play you can get the gran cart to pull beside the combine and unload

      It wasn’t about wether I needed to use that function or not, I was demonstrating how to do it.
