Very sorry this happened to you. It does create distrust and an inability to be freely open with people and trust them. I was betrayed at 15 by someone who I thought was a friend...she actually set me up with 2 of her friends to be raped by a guy 22 years old. It destroyed my ability to really trust or make lasting friendships. I'm 68 now, and truly only have 1 person I consider a true and trustworthy friend, aside from my sister. I've known my friend for 32 years and would trust her with my life. Maybe that's why I've surrounded myself with broken, abandoned rescue animals, rather than people. You can care for them and love them back to a normal life, and they never betray you. Bless your heart, Viktor...what you do is difficult enough without the people you've trusted and thought were genuine, caring friends, betraying you.

That is terrible. I am married to someone that is a lot like that lady, but in a different way. At least you got away before anyone was really hurt too much. I live married to someone that resembles a lot of the same signs as this lady. And I can’t seem to get away from him. So, you and your people were the lucky ones, you left her in your past. One of the greatest scams is to have one’s kindness taken for stupidity. Victims never quite get over being betrayed. But I guess the advantage is, a victim can prevent themselves from being hurt again. Viktor, thanks for sharing your tragic story. 😟
I have not gotten over being betrayed by family members, the people that are suppose to love me and be there for me! And now I am not who I was, I now do not love anyone, I only love animals.
This happens to me often. I’m a very kind and loving person and I can tell people interpret this as stupidity. It’s not, but I’m aware of this now and put a stop to it immediately. Boy, are THEY stupid! They all think the same way.
This has happened to me so many times in my life. I so very sorry Viktor that you and your team friends were so betrayed. I it does affect you, as you start to become suspicious of others too. I pray that God will Heal your hearts 💕 from this terrible betrayal 🙏🙏🙏
@@elianah2874 I am so sorry that happened and it has made you lose your trust in human beings but I understand how you feel because I have also gone through something similar with members of my family also and I am so glad that I have my little dog and my cat. They will always give you love and loyalty no matter what.

I have a sibling who suffers the same kind of mental health issues. It took me most of my adult life to learn how to protect myself from this person. Victor, please protect yourself, your heart. People like that have a strange power that can destroy those that love them.
Victor your honisty and sensitivity is an attribute to your person. Never loose sight of that. Iam so sorry you were lied to and used in such a crewel way.
Your open acceptance of others and willingness to be of any help explains a whole lot of how much you really care for the animals in need. Keep up your much needed and wonderful work.

Thank you Viktor for sharing that story. I had a friend years ago who had 3 children who were always sick. She had many bottles of pills on her window sill and when I visited her, she would tell me who had sniffles, who had a cough, etc. I think she had that disease you spoke of. And you are such a kind man and I expect that the others in your animal rescue group were too so Alex felt that she could get the attention she sought from you. I am sorry that happened to you.

What a sad story. It's terrible when someone lies like that and takes advantage of a person's kindness. I know from personal experience.

I know you’re not a believer, but I pray (and invite each of your followers over the world to join me) for the Source of the Universe to help you and bring you ideas, through sharing and brainstorming with your friends and teammates for the continuation of so many years of work for the animals on a strong and stable base.
I do believe good ideas and great people devoted to rescuing animals or/ and donators ready to participate with regular donations (a good way to be part of your wonderful team) all that will come to your organization. Just we need to BELIEVE IT, visualize it as much clearly, in details and often as we can. Scientists have discovered and proved now that it’s our mind which creates our reality, not the opposite. The more people we are, holding those thoughts with strength, trust, hope, faith in Life, the more we’ll reach that goal, and you, Viktor, will be able to take care of your health, have time for yourself, letting others “drive the houses” while you enjoy your life. Your kids need you, animals need you, sooo much, you make the world a better place ! People need you cause you give them opportunities to be happy with adopted pets, to be generous, to be driven to become better humans by those beings welcomed, thinking we are their “masters”, when they are the ones coming in our lives to be our teachers of unconditional and true Loves, forgiveness, fidelity and trust.”

Thank you for sharing your story. This is the second time I have heard it from here. It reminds us to keep our wits about us even when we're rescuing animals. There are many disturbed people out there, that are cruel to animals and it impacts us very much.
I have a rescue cat Abby ages 2 and she is very loving and I talk to her like I would talk to you Victor.
They understand very well.

Je suis triste pour ce terrible évènement de votre amie;j’imagine bien la souffrance mentale et physique qu’à dû vivre votre amie,étant moi-même atteinte d’1 maladie orpheline et des douleurs extrêmes qu’elle a vécu. La résilience peut être un moyen de survivre dans ces moments affreux. L’exemple qui m’a vraiment inspiré à été par Jane appelée aussi Nightbith qui a reçu le buzz doré dans AGT par sa chanson « il’s ok ». Il lui restait 2% de survie et elle s’est battue corps et âme contre le cancer logé dans les poumons,colonne vertébrale et du foie. Tous les jours jusqu’à l’heure d’aujourd’hui m’inspire et me donne la force avec ma maladie et supporter les douleurs
Victor, listening to this story breaks my heart in many ways, but more so because I can relate 100%! To go through trauma, abuse, lied to, used, and hurt, yet you still give your whole heart and sole to help animals but I’m sure you still help friends in need too! You are a true caregiver and nurturing man! It takes strength to tell a story about being duped by another!
Now mental illness is worse than ever! Hard to trust anyone these days! But in the end, love and unity will shine through in the darkness of these times!
I stepped back from our local rescue due to my health condition but also the drama of certain people was overwhelming and not about the animals! So I only foster and help with strays, saving kittens and more recently many rabbits domestic and wild!
You really can tell good people from not so good through animals and how they treat them or others! Much love and respect from Manitoba 🇨🇦 Canada !!

Ive rescued horses for 23 years alone and they stay with me till they die. I too have met cruel people and trust no one. My horses are precious beyond words. Humans...not so much. LOV E YOU
I had a guy stay at my house.. he was homeless.. and autistic.. He lived here for about a year.. was on ssi, so rent could be paid. He would "decide" he was sick and call an ambulance.. he told me he liked the nurses paying attention to him, taking his blood pressure and listening to his heart... some people just crave attention.. he didnt have people touching him a lot or talking to him to ask things about himself. He abused my animals when I was not around.. I didnt know this, when I did learn, I told him he wasnt allowed to touch my animals anymore, I would not let him stay home when I wasnt ... the final straw came when he went crazy on me at walmart.. that is a quick way to get lots of attention.. It is hard to know what people think and will do ahead of time. I am just glad you got your kitty away from her, I hope the one that remained was ok!
What your doing for all those poor animals is very heroic pls. Keep on saving this animals you are their hope. We love u victor may God be with you always.

How does someone do that...as a breast cancer survivor...how horrible..😳
Without you where would the animals be? Honestly im getting cynical. I tried volunteering near my city but some of the people there acted weird so i left the shelter. its a no kill shelter but they had me drop off a sick kitten to a vets. i didnt want to know the decision they made for him..my heart was breaking that day.
You are such a good person to help animals...I love ya.

Victor, you have to be careful as a compassionate animal lover. People will try to hurt, deceive, steal, be confident crooks and many other things. Having volunteered around animals reveals many truths about people and their bad sode too often. There are also bad people inside the animal industry, abusing, neglecting, hatrassing the animals that are emotionally or mentally unstable. It is hard to deal with, especially when bad Vets come in the picture, you can see things are wrong but you can't change it. You have to build a little tough skin knowing all types of people are out there and some just want to hurt people just to do it. Animals suffer just like the children that are at the mercy of these weirdos. You are sincere and thank you for all the great video rescues and being a good man to help these helpless animals.

My heart was beating so fast when this story first started. I was SO worried, and afraid, you were going to say 'Alex' had done something to Sol.
I understand this may not matter because of how 'Alex's' actions, as well as her undermining the trust and friendship you had with her, hurt you, but it's important to note that her lies were cries for attention. Abandonment and neglect, are just two of the reasons for this type of behavior.
People with Munchausen syndrome have a deep need for attention they never received - probably as a child.
I'm not excusing this very disturbing behavior, rather just want to put it out there that, most likely, she didn't do this to hurt you...rather to fulfill her need to feel important and to belong.
THANK YOU FOR HELPING AND SAVING ANIMALS , I SAVED TWO DOGS FROM A BAD SHELTER IN TAIWAN I LIVE IN MASSACHUSETTS UNITED STATES . THIS WAS 6 AND 7 YEARS AGO I SAVED THE TWO MOST HURT DOGS ONE WHO CANT USE HER BACK LEGS AND A SHEPHARD WHO WAS SERIOUS FAMAGE THEN HE WAS IN A SMALL CAGE FOR OVER 3 YEARS ONLY GOT OUT A FEW MIN PER WEEK.HE NEEDED MORE SURGERY WHEN I SAVED HIM , NOW THEY LIVE IN THE COUNTRY HAVE THE BEST I CAN GIVE THEM AND A LOT OF LOVE ,THANK YOU DEE,

What an awful woman to betray you like this. Well done for telling the story, it helps to heal. I was betrayed by someone many years ago, I lent her money, supported her with her ' problems ', which turned out to be a complete pack of lies.I came through it with the love & support of my family & friends. This person moved away & have never seen her since. I always thought I was a good judge of character, I am very wary now & all my lovely friend's & I look out for each other. Sadly Viktor the world is full of evil, cruel, malicious, ruthless, abusive, evil people. That is why I prefer animals to people. You did the right thing especially taking the paralysed cat back and rehoming her. Sad you couldn't catch the other cat. You did the right thing by cutting all ties with her. Dont let it get you down you just concentrate on rescuing animals of which you do very well. A lot of people get deceived like this. Its not nice and it is very hurtful. This is a full on betrayal. I have been around a few people in my life that have completely devastated me with their lies. Unfortunately, their behavior shocks us to the core and through the grace of God, he brings us to an inner peace from this pain.
The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies.
"Forgiveness doesn't excuse their behavior. Forgiveness Prevents their behavior from destroying your heart".
Stay strong, keep the faith and thank you and your crew for all you do.
These people are called energy vampires.

As someone who's become known as a caring person, I've been used in the same way. However, as I'm sure is true for you, I've learned to trust my gut and avoid getting sucked into helping someone who's just needing attention, not real help. When someone tells me they're being abused by a loved one, I tell them about local support organizations...and that while I can't help them, I trust them to make the decisions that are right for them. Then I let the whole thing go.
Surprisingly, there have been several people who've come back and thanked me, that they made the move to get healthy y working wit support agencies. Gratifying to say the least. Keep doing what you do, you're a truly kind and caring person. The world is lucky to have you around. I am glad you were born.

I was told that we should not forget to take care of ourselves first.
It's all just so sad. This person is of course, unwell, but was clearly so desperate for love and didn't feel worthy of it as she is (as you know & described). I hope she isn't dangerous to animals and is just unwell in and of herself. After all, taking in hard to care for animals can be a strong call for a person who knows what true hurt and neglect feels like. It was hard to hear you say 'she didn't deserve any of our love'. She may not have deserved the sympathy for an illness, but she was worthy of love... she just didn't know how to receive it as herself... and that is just tragic. I can see how hard it would be trust yourself enough to trust others and to be open after that. But I'm sure you've done your work around this and have come a long way. Bravo, for all you do.

I have given up on people. I am to old and broken or I'd come to join your quest. I love animals, much more than people...they don't judge or hurt you. Their love is unconditional and I wish only the best for you and all that you do. Recently went through something like this. Thought someone was a friend and took a trip with us and we thought was helping us move. Turns out she was hurting my handicap son and telling my husband things about me behind my back. More things but short story got rid of her and will never talk to her again. Scary when you think you know someone and trust them.
