As per the price. It's very good. Daily/₹1 se v kam ka kimat hai. So, it's far better to subscribe just for 1 month. Anyways this cheap price won't stay for long. Soon, they will raise their price and then Jio cinema might become unworthy of subscription

Last thing I watched is "Heeramandi" on Netflix in 4K UHD HDR on Android TV. And have original paid subscriptions like Prime Membership, Netflix (but for few more days, since it's too expensive for me), Zee5 and Hoichoi (Bengali OTT). And got some more free bundled with Railwire Broadband like Sony Liv, Shemaroo Mee, Alt Balaji, Aao NXT (Odia OTT, which i don't watch at all), Gaana (For Music) and Hungama Play.
Last time I subscribed Hotstar worth Rs. 299 just for ICC Worldcup. It was the first and last time.

The reason I think why OTT failed in India is the content. For example, Zakir Khan's web series "Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare" was first released in May 2018, and now it's 2024, almost seven years, and the series hasn't ended. We have to wait more. Also, frankly, we Indians do watch content; we go to watch in cinema halls. For example, some movies like "KGF," "Pathan," "Animal," and many others got very good success. The problem is we don't want to wait too long; eventually, we start forgetting some good shows because we don't have enough time to give. We really can't wait too long just to watch a movie. Later, when the movie is released, we get to know from a friend, and eventually, we go for torrents.
Its not about Indian only. Just scroll through youtube you'll find this ott failing videos from every country.
I am a student so that's the way I use Amazon mini tv and it provides good content which directly correlates with students life.
The biggest drawback of Amazon Prime is despite Prime subscription, They ask for renting movies.

Logo ko ott subscription mahnga padta hai. Jabki pirated content free mein available ho jata hai, aur log usi ko dekhte hain. Koi insan netflix ka subscription leta hai mahine ka to wo mahine bhar wo 1-2 series dekh payega yadi working hoga to, yahan minimum plan ₹149 ka bhi le to ek to quality low rhega. Jabki log pirated content apne hisab se kitna bhi dekh sakte hai hd aur 5G ane ke bad inko download karna itna mushkil bhi nahi. Esliye ek reason piracy bhi hai

The reason is two fold. No person wants to subscribe to watch new foreign content and recently released bollywood and other Indian movies. They subscribe to watch the OTT produced web series or movies which are actually WORTH WATCHING. And MOST OTTS or rather I'd say NO OTT PTALFORM has new unique content and actually good content. Most original new content on OTT whether be it movies or web series is CRAP. Netflix In USA has stranger things, You, Wednesday (web series), etc. It also has Dark in Germany. Content like this is revolutionary, unique, bold in true sense and AMAZING. Amazon has produced the Boys in the USA. Disney+ has original Marvel content. What unique content do the Indian branches of these OTTs provide? Most good web series or Movies even have regular stories with just addition of gaali and sex. Produce REVOLUTIONARY, GOOD content and people will pay hand over fist.
