I have some dear friends I know through my professional life. And we "see" each other when we're collaborating on something. Working together is incredibly satisfying for me and is one of the key ways we bond. But 95%+ of our time is purely spent working. I spend more time with them (online, in person, on the phone, etc.) than I do with some of my purely personal friends. And keep in mind, MANY rockstars, actors, etc. have talked about how essentially nobody really has actual "friends" in the business. So, this demographic of people isn't the mostly likely to develop lots of purely social friendships in the first place.
There was a Beres Hammond concert earlier during covid that could rival this sans-fans concert for honesty and purity and musicianship, and professionalism. I and the other watchers/listeners are the winners. Thank you for posting.

If you have a 50 year long career together and you've shared 2000 shows and 40 albums, why on earth would you hang out and drink coffee?
