    Hi Jett. Love your content. As I am listening in from earphones I have to inform you that the audio from you only comes out from the left side and the audio of the lawyer comes out from the right side only. Kindly please look into this in future videos. Thanks khon khun khrap

    Hi Jett, Thank you and your lawyer friend for all this very helpful advice, I tell Farang all the time to go see a Thai lawyer regards any property purchase or marriage prep nup etc all the time but as you said people don’t want to talk about death but it’s a fact of life.
    Keep up the great work Cheers Irish Paul

      Thank you. I'm of the agreement that anyone, local or foreign, who's making such a significant purchase or life decision should consult with a lawyer.

    I am missing the condition when Thai law applies for the inheritance: does it require a residency in Thailand or simply any asset within Thailand will be passed according to thai law?

    • @JettGunther
      @JettGunther  3 месяца назад

      A Thai will covers any assets in Thailand, regardless of your residency status. Many make the mistake of thinking that their will drafted abroad will apply to Thai assets.

    The easiest way: Don’t own, rent. Keep your money in investments or a decent HYSA. Stay away from women who want to get married. 💯

    Compared to expat, lots of Thai women lose money to bad marriage

    Avoid Anything involving Signed Paperwork in Thailand and you will be Fine… ie Marriage Certificate, Mortgage, Car Loan etc… ***Note Thai Courts always Favor Thai Locals. We are just Guest’s in the Land of Smiles. Enjoy 🥳🥳🥳

      The reality is when one plans to live long term anywhere, they will need to sign documents to ensure their rights are protected (rent/purchase agreements, insurance, wills, etc). This video is aimed providing the right approach towards handling important matters.
      “Thai Courts always Favor Thai Locals” - There are plenty of cases where the court ruled in favor of the foreigner. You can see this video for more info ruclips.net/video/gadpcWDbIyU/видео.htmlsi=joKdv7MEdVcToZBT&t=2456
