Rick, love the channel. Got my package and love the products. Only issue is to use the hood with the Ipad mini you have to leave the side with the wire connection open. the opening on the hood does not match up with the lightning connector so you cant close that side. It works great with a phone. Love the lanyard, and the extender so I can fly with the Ipad. Thanks!
One thing I don’t like about the mini 2 is you can no longer control the yaw while in RTH. Was nice being able to let the drone fly home and pan around while recording video.

GREAT video, Question I go out in my MotorHome all the time, It has a 12v which I use for my rear view mirror , it also has a 18v charge that I have never had a need to use. Just received DJI Mini 2. I use a Galaxy S20 android phone. One problem... my phone protector will not allow the USB c cable connector to plug in properly. I have to remove the case each time. Is there a particular USB c female to male adapter you would personally prefer or will most any be sufficient. Probably need a short cable type to reach around the sun shield. Your input would be appreciated. Thank you

You mentioned that the Ipad mini 4 can be used in both the Mini 1 controller and Mini 2 controller. Would you recommend using the Ipad mini 4 with either or both of these controllers? I'm wondering if the technology in the Ipad mini 4 is too old to give a smooth experience with the DJI fly app on both these quads.

My pickup has a 110AC (modified sine wave inverter) 150 watt output. I wonder if I could use the 6-in-1 charger that I purchased at drone valley to charge 4 batteries at one time? I understand some electronics don't like the modified sine wave from the inverter. The ones that give you pure sine waves are more expensive but it looks like the power signature you get from your outlets in your house. Any comments on this?

Rick - You have done a number reviews on various drones; i.e. flight performance, distance, etc.; however, there is one test that no one has done and I've experimented and that is the "Line of Sight" test. Question: At what distance do you loose sight of the drone. For me, the distance I lost sight of my Mavic Pro 2 was 850 to 900 yards (note I have 20/20 vision). My Phantom 3 it was 950 to 1,000 yards. I don't have a dji mini 2, but I would believe the distance is shorter than a Mavic Pro 2/Phantom. So, at what distance do you lose sight of your drones?

I hate to bother you with a silly question but I can not seem to find even 1 human that knows of a OTG cable from the c connector on mini 2 controller, to my Lenovo tablet with a Micro USB connector. Some people mention Usb mini to otg C which is backwards and they can not be used in reverse. I bought a sunscreen for my tablet and need a 20 cm or 12 inch C OTG to Micro USB cable with right angles to use the sunscreen. Noone on earth knows of one and know you are so knowledable on DJI items I thought you may know of, have, or sell such a cable. I know you understand the workings of things and I figured you must be the one to ask after all my searching, In advance THANK YOU for any comment. Ray C. P.S. Adam, thanks for the post and that's actually not the case. We tested these extensively with over 42 phones and not one of them had any issues with these magnets affecting anything on the phone or the controller. They are mounted far away from the phone as part of their design and not nearly powerful enough to impact the tech.

After watching your video on the controller extender, I decided, oh I need one of them. So away I bought an iPad. But when I looked up on Amazon the other day, I couldn’t find your extender. There were cheap ones but none as good as yours. So, off I went to your store and bought one. Now I am in the uk and await delivery of my extender. What I would like to ask is, how much are your extenders on Amazon? It’s just that when I bought it from you, the delivery was as much as the extender. Ouch, Is there anywhere in the uk that sells your items? And Rick, please slow down when talking on RUclips. I watch all your videos and I am a subscriber. I am disabled and a bit slow. Thanks for the post and the DJI Mini 2 doesn't offer ADS-B as part of it's design. I'm sure it was a question of weight and they were working hard to keep it under 250 grams. The only quad on the market I know of that does offer it at this point is the Mavic Air 2. It's a great feature and actually helped me yesterday when I was flying on a beach in NJ with a small plane that was approaching under 300 feet. I got the warning long before I saw the plane and was able to drop to 50' while they passed. Stay tuned for more updates this week and thanks for your support! Rick

Remote ID will not stop you from flying and getting the great shots with the Air 2 . Remote ID won't kick in until 2023

If I use a Tablet, such as ipad mini 4 does it have to have gps? I know only ipads with wifi+cellular have gps. Thanks Rick, love your videos.
No. The tablet will use an offline maps. If needed, you can hotspot from your cellphone to the Ipad.

We tested these extensively with over 42 phones and not one of them had any issues with these magnets affecting anything on the phone or the controller. They are mounted far away from the phone as part of their design and not nearly powerful enough to impact the tech.

After watching your video on the controller extender, I decided, oh I need one of them. So away I bought an iPad. But when I looked up on Amazon the other day, I couldn’t find your extender. There were cheap ones but none as good as yours. So, off I went to your store and bought one. Now I am in the uk and await delivery of my extender. What I would like to ask is, how much are your extenders on Amazon? It’s just that when I bought it from you, the delivery was as much as the extender. Ouch, Is there anywhere in the uk that sells your items? And Rick, please slow down when talking on RUclips. I watch all your videos and I am a subscriber. I am disabled and a bit slow. Sometimes I have to watch your video two to three times as I miss something lol. Have a good day, I own a mini 2 and Mavic pro. Can the smaller M2P controller pair with Mini 2? That can really help to keep the Mini 2 as good as the Mavic Mini form factor when travelling.
Thanks for the video and the products Rick! I just placed an order for the controller lanyard clip, my question is do you know if this Mini 2 is compatible to charge on the Mini 1 Display charging base? No one has touched on this yet. Appreciate any info.
unfortunately the mini 2 controller is not compatible with dji simulator

Does mini 2 utilize ADSB-In?
Thanks for the post and the DJI Mini 2 doesn't offer ADS-B as part of it's design. I'm sure it was a question of weight and they were working hard to keep it under 250 grams. The only quad on the market I know of that does offer it at this point is the Mavic Air 2. It's a great feature and actually helped me yesterday when I was flying on a beach in NJ with a small plane that was approaching under 300 feet. I got the warning long before I saw the plane and was able to drop to 50' while they passed. Stay tuned for more updates this week and thanks for your support! Rick
