By-gones can be by-gones when Moonton revokes the Boreas nerf & says he will continue to function as he did upon release. And instead of nerfing him, Moonton will thoroughly & adequately test each and every hero before they release them on ANY server

Venoma also applies Hex with her passive (on basic every 5 attacks). Probably still not going to make the cut unless they add some amazing Eso units with DoT in the future.
I think the best option for bleed still is Komodo (at least for f2p), 40 seconds ultimate with applying bleed each hit is really good uptime when you build him with high attack speed and rage regen might be better than Vladov even. He can also do a lot of damage when A3, more than Vladov according to some testing but it needs to be tested

Well, if Praetus makes it into the PvP meta, in a big way, like Boreas or Val, then maybe he'll get tuned down. Out of sight out of mind, though. If he's doing bonker things in PvE, I doubt most people will care or complain. This boss looks challenging. I hope they keep introducing bosses that really breath life into champs that aren't even riding the bench, but still stuck back in the locker room.
Nisalt's status effects are still bugged afaik and he cannot apply both poison and burn at the same time. If the boss has any poison, regardless of source, he will be unable to apply burn. The reverse is also true. I did report it so hopefully they will patch it before the boss drops, but we'll see. He still might be useful just for the Toxic Fire effect, especially if you're lacking the stronger heroes. Something like Azzoth, Nisalt, Cuke, Vladov/Komodo, Alistair (replacing any of them with stronger heroes if you have them)?
How come they've kind of neglected the Poison debuff? I think Nissault is the only Epic who has it, and outside of that, you're talking about blues and greens.
Percent-based damage is almost always too good at what it does. Guaranteeing that you can take a boss down x% per tick no matter the attack power of your hero or the defenses of the boss is difficult to balance.
Hi! Unless you correct yourself further in the video, it seems you are confusing Continuous Damage and Damage over Time. Continuous Damage is Solcadens' and Alistair's basic attacks, DoT is burns, bleeds, etc.

What is the best in slot gear for praetus in general? i see some people building him with high attack no CR. others with max CR. whats the way to go about it and whats the best in slot for right gear? I keep hearing he’s broken, but hes mediocre in my account :/,
Nisalt could be good because he applies 3 different dots. Burn, poison and toxic fire. I tested him out a bit and he can deal surprising damage. He can break the shields and do 30m on nm3. with support of course. His kit reads like he does aoe but I don't really see it helping a lot when testing in swarm content.
@@DemonicEmperor2023 lots of support. He got to 100m on the codex when combined with dassomi. Dassomi doesn't get frozen because his inspiration comes from basic attack. Sneaky tech right there
Hmm. I have enough skill crystals to max either Anal, Salazar or Alastair - all base awakening level. I think it's between the last two. Alastair is probably the better hero for this fight, but Salazar is useful in so many places if I invested. I think I'm just going to hand onto the crystrals for now and see once the boss shows up. Meanwhile I'm going to level some bleed artifacts just in case I'll need a beefy 3-pack of them.
Praetus is an ancient exclusive lord. The chance of getting him is so low that he should be top tier. I was a bit worried about this boss, but it looks like a nightmare team will work well.
I 6 started my a5 nisalt today. I needed more point for the event anyways and really hope this makes another character viable. Not sure the best way to gear him though.
Ugh only have Hex, Wrath, Cuke, and Lust built up. (No Arrogance) Don't have most others other than Azzoth, and Nisalt, Laseer. But they aren't built up.

Also u can get Prateus only on the red shards too, and not many People have Prateus too. So in accordance to this information, he Isn't talk about much and doesnt need nerf
I got nothing against Praetus being OP because he's not used in PvP. I actually feel glad for the people who have broken heroes that are good for PvE content.

I just checked the top 10 teams and only 1 is using Praetus. Also, from my personal experience, I don't think I've ever lost to a Praetus team of similar BR. When I said PvP, I mainly meant guild wars because most people don't really care about arena. I have never seen someone use Praetus for guild war.

boreas is a normal hero. Praetus is the legendary lord of the rarest faction in the game. it is different. also people talk about praetus nerfs daily
