If you’re reading this denon we’d love to have stacked waveforms for the master track as well like on the cdj 3000. That would make this player perfect
Would love a feature to have the ability to switch the source from the dual waveform view, in order to see the other players current playing track, not only 1A/1B from the same player. Thanks Denon for some great updates on both the 5000 and 6000 series.
This is helpful, but only so far as if you are playing two tracks on one player which anyone with 4 SCX000 units will never be doing. Dual waveforms hopefully will come where we can see waveforms of other players similar to any DJ software on the desktop.
This is what I'm waiting for to jump from the Prime 4. I'd love to have the effects sends from a full mixer, but the Prime 4's stacked waveforms let me do creative stuff matching phrasing on new songs that I haven't heard yet. Still I wait...
@Denon DJ Agree. There's a wave of new users waiting in the wings once you have the ability to see the waveforms from another player... hate it or love it, the software (serato namely) has trained us to follow waveforms.
How Denon released this without being able to set the second waveform to a different physical player, I'll never know. We need stacked waveforms for other physical players as well not just layers. This seems like a no brainier and missed opportunity to me.
Dual layers are so nice! Finally pushed em out of beta! Also tells me the Denon DJ layer controller will soon be released as well! DJ Pierre released more images of the screenless Denon DJ layer controller recently as did Laidback Luke things are getting better and better!
Can one sc6000 playing as deck 1 also display deck 2's track on the same screen and vice versa so I can see the transitions? Im not refering to dual layer, im talking about tracks playing on the other deck. Kind of like how I can on the prime 4.
I noticed that lots of folks want to have each player mirror the other one's waveforms so they're stacked between players. Could a slightly poor workaround be using one player as a controller for the second layer of the other player, by plugging its usb into it? So one player basically becomes an LC6000. Some folks would prefer the stacked waveform to four decks I guess.
hi, why do you think my Mac or Windows does not recognize my SC5000 when I go to update mode. I have downloaded the updatesthe and I have at the moment the 1.0.0 version and the LAN cable is connected to the controller. what could be the reasons for not updating you think?
You have to do each update in order. If you are on 1.0.0 you got a few before 1.6. Each time you update you have to "recheck for update" button so it know what it should be doing. Then press the reboot button with the usb in after you get 1.2.

Agreed. How this hasn't happened yet, especially after the CDJ-3000 offered it, I don't know.
The BEST players out there ..
Thank you Denon Dj
HOLY SHIT!! Goodbye laptop DJing, it was a fun ride; going standalone open format boiiii xD Bravo Denon DJ
Haha waverider.

Is this available yet?
Putting these big screens to use 😝
Top notch update, well done Denon 👏
Good! Can we see the waveform of another master deck like a CDJ-3000?
I’ll download and install the update this weekend, thanks
Awesome! I have been hoping for this kind of dual view since I bought it. Thanks for improving it once again

Discover this yesterday! Great update.

Amazing
Just installed on my 2 SC5000M
Dual waveform is super usefull and beautifull
Thank you
Did you do anything Special after updating the SC 5000?
I dont have the dual layer feature after updating :(
me neither
@@orpheuz3682 press shift+view
@@rorroda saw it bro ✌️😂
Can you have the stacked waveforms include one from an opposing player? Say Decks 3 and 4… asking for a friend

Does this include stacked waveforms like the CDJ3000 ?
Game changer.
Great Work Denon !
Mint!
Great update!
😍😍😍 thank you 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I love it!
Espero algún día comprarme la Denon sc5000 🎧👍

Seems to be only in the layering of one unit as opposed to 2 different units.
Yea would also make sence to 2 units like in Pioneer CDJ 3000.
This is awesome, especially after using serato for 13 years 🤣👍🔥

When double waveform is activated, you cant see the beat clock from the other linked player anymore. Hmmm.
Should have been like this since day one but thanks
Hey, this is awesome if your using the layer functions. Why can’t you implement this for those that don’t.
Will there ever be a record function on the players like there is on the prime2/4??
Dual waveform view usin SERATO?
Dope
Thx
Now can it be done as in the Controllers to mix?
Mega 🤩✅

@@kaislate this could make sense but where do you get all of them? in Denon website there's only 1.6.0 🤔
and thanks for the help.
@@oceanwavesES there is a link on the denon site for older versions.
OMG Santa its here
ONE YEAR later! C'mon man - stacked waveforms from another player! ... so i can throw away my laptops !!!
1 dislike, someone is jelly :)
wait, for that updated I don't have to buy new players, it for free?
Yes
haha you thinking of pioneers.
