tw: self-h*arm this movie has really dark & sad themes, but I love that it doesn't depict those events(as evident in the movie title) on screen. And the aftermath that is shown is relatively brief. I tried my best not to show certain scenes of the aftermath since it can be pretty disturbing. ** Also, youtube, please DO NOT DISABLE MY COMMENTS!!! this movie is well over 20 years old, so everyone who started in this film is over the age of 18!!!**
I remember my sister loving this movie in high school and my mom disapproving because she thought it glorified "unaliving" yourself, when really it does the opposite. I haven't seen it, but I know enough about it to where I feel like I can say the message aligns with the saying "all kids deserve parents, but not all parents deserve kids." This had to be a tough one to make, so I applaud you sis 👏
I feel like there was a big misconception due to the title being so forward, which is understandable why people would think it glorified unaliving yourself. But it definitely does depict the opposite. And like you said, the main message is "all kids deserve parents, but not all parents deserve kids." I feel like the 90s had a lot of movies with those types of themes, but none of them were of the same caliber as this film, which makes the message everlasting. And thank you so much; the film is pretty hard to watch & edit, but I knew I wanted the make an edit of it.
You did a very good job with this edit and it looks so beautiful. I never seen The Virgin Suicides before but I heard this is one of Kirsten Dunst’s best movies. She is a very underrated actress and I only knew her in Spider-Man and Bring it on.
Thank you so much!🤍 It's such a beautifully sad movie & I definitely think it's Kirsten Dunst’s best films! She's such a great actor; aside from The Virgin Suicides, Spider-Man & Bring It On, I really liked her in Jumanji & Little Women(1994). I've also heard great things about her in the 2006 film Marie Antoinette which has been on my watchlist for so long lol
@@90slovestruck Oh I forgot about Jumanji she was so good in that movie I also heard she was good in Mona Lisa Smile which i really want to see because it has really good actors in that movie like Julia Roberts, Julia Stiles, Krysten Ritter, and Tropher Grace. That is a packed cast that i really want to see in a movie together
Thank you so much, Tori! I really appreciate it! I love Lana's music so much & definitely want to make more edits using her songs. And I totally agree, both of those songs deal with similar topics & in such an eloquent way. Plus, both songs are honestly some of my top tracks from each artist

Good job, Belle! Lana Del Rey is a queen! This song reminds me of “Boys Will Be Boys” by Dua Lipa!
