Classic Car Restoration - 1957 MGA

This is a 1957 MGA which has had a totally no expense spared restoration with many upgrades resulting in an immaculate but usable classic sports car.Completely restored bare shell rebuild, the chassis was powder coated, all the suspension was renewed and rebuilt using poly bushes, it has received a brake disc conversion with uprated brakes, all new components.The engine was bored to 1600, fully remanufactured, u/l stage 2 polished head, lightened and balanced, lightened and balanced flywheel.This MGA has a 5 speed conversion gearbox with a recalibrated speedo to match.All the running gear has been restored as new.All new hubs and chrome wire wheels.The body shell was stripped to bare shell, sandblasted, it then received new wings, reskinned doors and a full frame rebuild.Etch, primed and painted in a stunning fine mica silver streak.All new or reconditioned electrics including lights, instruments and wiring loom etc.The interior has been reupholstered in antique red leather with deep pile carpets and matching trim panels.With the car there is new weather gear, a top quality hood and new side screens.All new chromeware and fittings.This car is absolutely stunning and cost in excess £75,000+ to restore.
