It depends on the context of a person's position in life. It takes 200+ skydives before starting with a tracking suit. Then, you must advanced through tracking suits to trackwingsuits, and then through the various wingsuits. Then, you must travel on location (bridges, etc) to train BASE, advancing through pulling at low altitude, eventually traveling to mountains with ideal exits, and then advancing through tracking to wingsuits again, all while traveling or staying on location. So, consider the time, the jumps, the suits, the traveling, and, finally, the high risk to life. Is it expensive? You decide.
@@InlineDownhillVancouver maybe thats the rules where you live but in uk you 1st need around 70-80 jumps and B licence to put tracking suit on, you do TR1, TR2, TR3 then you do another xx skydives to make up 200 within 18 months or 500 in unlimited spacetime, then you do fjc with wingsuit and you progress thru, you do around 300 wingsuit skydives and you might be ready( depends on person) to start base jumping and after 200 of them and atleast 2 years in sport- you can try wingsuit base, the rest is practice, flying wingsuits or base jumping or even skydiving is A LIFESTYLE not just hobby, it creates human bonds and friendships from people all around the world😊
