    • @TheNecroserpent
      @TheNecroserpent 8 лет назад +2

      The cold war technically ended with the fall of the Soviet union which was on 31st December 1991. The point i was trying make was to stress on the power of music over shadowing political bitterness. I am sure you'd like to burst bubbles, just not this time son.

    • @TheNecroserpent
      @TheNecroserpent 8 лет назад +3

      Well in this case it ended with the enemy adopting a new identity and looked a lot different. a few countries opted out of the soviet union after this show. So technically the ego battle and the side effects were pretty rampant at this stage, but i will take your point that the Russians knew their fate at this time which makes my previous point all the more valid about music not getting affected by stupid politics.

    In Russian, "Die" means give!... Children traditionally chant "Die, die, die, die" at "Dead" Moroz (Ded Moroz), the Russian santa, at Christmas time when begging for presents.
    So not only is this a Christian song, it's a Chrismas classic!

      Yes the song is biblical. Creeping death is the plague. “First born pharaohs son” is what would’ve happened if you wouldn’t have used lambs blood on your door. When he says “I” he’s in the perspective of the Plague that “the chosen one” God sent

    I've been a Metallica fan since like 91.. was born in 85 so during their glory days I didn't really know about them.. I have yet to see them live.. They barely tour in America anymore.. But my dying wish, no pun intended, is to be able to yell DIE DIE DIE in the crowd to this song.
