Metallica's riffs have the same accents as the vocal melodies have. It takes practice obviously. But it's certainly not hard to sing it whilst playing.
Battery, creeping death, master puppets, blackened are all over the top difficult to sing and play, he’d have to make some mistakes on stage surely with the singing being first priority?? And then all the head banging and engaging the crowd? Hetfield is a beast!!!
Undoubtedly. Literally the most important concert in the history of our human race. I have never seen flags from every country waving with that many people as far as the horizon reaches. The crowd fighting back the military police authorities and taking their knight-sticks and uniforms. The most beautiful and purist 🖕 you to The Man I’ve ever seen. In Russian, "Die" means give!... Children traditionally chant "Die, die, die, die" at "Dead" Moroz (Ded Moroz), the Russian santa, at Christmas time when begging for presents. So not only is this a Christian song, it's a Chrismas classic!
Yes the song is biblical. Creeping death is the plague. “First born pharaohs son” is what would’ve happened if you wouldn’t have used lambs blood on your door. When he says “I” he’s in the perspective of the Plague that “the chosen one” God sent

How James can play the main riff and sing at the same time is beyond me. I know it takes practice but duuude....
Yeah, and on top of that his voice was just in the right key that time. This song sounds even beter than the studio version did back in '84...
Metallica's riffs have the same accents as the vocal melodies have.
It takes practice obviously. But it's certainly not hard to sing it whilst playing.
@@olafvanrijnsbergen1177 Let's see!! Post your video playing this song.
Tallyca Hamulhetru Haha exactly... internet peeps can do everything
Battery, creeping death, master puppets, blackened are all over the top difficult to sing and play, he’d have to make some mistakes on stage surely with the singing being first priority?? And then all the head banging and engaging the crowd? Hetfield is a beast!!!
James's voice here is just on another level. 2:39 "So let it be done" is just fucking EPIC!
Always with the movie ten commandments in my mind... Best song of Metallica for sure
James' vocals on this concert are so-🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
"Dad, why is my sister's name rose?"
"Because your mom loves roses"
"Thanks dad"
"No problem, Metallica - Creeping Death Live Moscow 1991 HD"
Best part of the show was Newsted. He needs to come back.
i know!!!
word
Yes. Jason rules.
I would have to imagine that if anything ever happened to Robert that Jason would be the first one they called
But it won’t happen
Newsted at 3:38 of this video is my favorite part. The way he winds up before he strokes with an awesome headbang is great.
Agree
its was a headbang he was prepping for his whole life
i have always loved that part since I was a teen. the energy builds up and shoots with four fist swings.
Like a thunder god.
saw that too fucking sick
я был маленький в то время 7 лет, но я вырос на этой музыке и слушаю по сей день,супер!!
Hell yeah 🤘🤘
Undoubtedly. Literally the most important concert in the history of our human race. I have never seen flags from every country waving with that many people as far as the horizon reaches. The crowd fighting back the military police authorities and taking their knight-sticks and uniforms. The most beautiful and purist 🖕 you to The Man I’ve ever seen. On top of epic performances, perfectly executed by our Metal Overlords (No I didn’t forget AC/DC and Pantera either). It’s exactly like someone said before me. They are playing the Soviet Unions funeral. Fucking. Monumental.
Everything you write is true.
Jason has something that Robert will never have: that amazing spirit and voice...
Fabian but Rob is a better technical bass player, Jason’s energy was just incredible
Jason is as metal as you can get . Robert just seems too nice.
Watching Rob just like playing bass is fun when he does his little crabwalk and he's better at bass imo but Jason had a lot more energy and was probably more satisfying to watch play than rob
and a pick
Well Jason was a young guy here and Rob is middle aged man
In Russian, "Die" means give!...
@@kaidbakulski4875 the destroyer
bruh, god is about as metal as it gets
That’s f-n cool to think about!! Little children screaming “DIE!!” At Santa 👍💪
YOU GET A LIKE!
AND YOU GET A LIKE!
EVERYONE GETS LIKES!!
One of the best Renditions of this song when they were at the top of their game
I remember watching this back in 91
Blew me away then
Still does.
2:53 “KIRKEY BABAAAY....GO” I died😂😂
I've been a Metallica fan since like 91.. was born in 85 so during their glory days I didn't really know about them.. I have yet to see them live.. They barely tour in America anymore.. But my dying wish, no pun intended, is to be able to yell DIE DIE DIE in the crowd to this song.
Dustin P. Already did that back in 98 " .It was insane
Zach Cline Lucky.. well they said American tour for their new album so maybe next year will be the year!
Dustin P. Have to agree .I saw them while Jason was still with them .TOTALLY different band then .
They come to my town I'll see them, but yea the hard rock scene in America has been dead for a long time. Metallica could drum up enough interest fom promoters for an arena show but doubtful any other band.
They are touring the states this summer! Be there!!
So is no one gonna talk about how badass Jason’s part is? Those vocals send shivers down my spine..
I miss Jason so much, one of the best men metal has ever seen
Best Version of Creeping Death ever!!!
Andrea Maria ... seattle 89
Seattle ´89 is my favorite Concert but i´d prefer Creeping death here.
witt6578 no, this its better and san diego 92 too
FUCK YEAH BABY!!!
witt6578 This was the greatest motherfucker Jason ever yelled.
I shouldn't have watched that at 2:00 am Sunday. Now I'm pumped and will never get to sleep.
Lol same here, that's why I avoid watching or listening to thrash before sleep, or else I find myself head banging all night
fuck me too, i do this error every time😀
+Tom Wolfe Same Here Brah
+Tom Wolfe Two hours ago I thought "Maybe I'd watch some funny Metallica stuff." I end up here as always. And it's 4AM now...
+Ilirian Luta 3:14am est next up is pulling teeth/anaesthesia cause screw sleep!!!:)
This is fucking incredible! One of the best performances Metallica ever did
Все ещё отлично смотрящийся концерт. Still a nice-looking gig, no matter of the years... Loud, rude🎅🎸👍 one of the best, imho
USSR 1991 - total "Breakdown"😂😂
Hands down the best performance of this song. Also hats off for the guy that mixed the entire show
I miss Jason. That dude brought so much energy to their shows.🤘
Yes Definitely
Yup 👍🏻
2:12
Kirk realizing that he left the 50ft radius his loved one, the Wah pedal put on him
This is more funny than it should be
@@nachocheez9690 the joke that should not be.
This is beyond crazy, just look at that sea of people. And perfroming just before the URSS downfall in Moscow. This is history right here, Metallica is Goated and one of the most important bands of all time. What a blessing his music is, it helped me to pass thru a lot of evil shit in my past and here I am now living good and most importantly happy. God bless Metallica!
James, voice early 90s is unspeakable.
Jason is savage!
He totally rocked. His backing vocals were the best in Metallica!
He focking left the band!
Why? Why? Why? Jason!!!!! Whyyyyy!!?!?!?!?!?!?!
@@LakeLeePrism FOCK!!
aditya srinidhi nope
People tend to forget, that at the same day Pantera and AC/DC played at this concert. I would die to be there
but headliner was metallica
+Rewat Shrestha headliner was ACDC not Metallica
oh my god Metallica, ACDC and Pantera in their PRIME??? It must have been awesome to be there.
ya acdc was there but we have no video of acdc playing there,,,,..ya and metallica stole the show..
Fletcher_Drumming Pantera dominantion was the best singular performance though.
As a relatively new Metallica fan, this is by far my favorite song. So heavy, so good. Truly beautiful music
A million Russians scream "Die..!"
Germany: "Oh shit, here we go again" (pisses on their pants)
I doubt that 1 on 1 Russia coukd defeat the Third Reich
Really need to thank the man himself, Gorbachev for letting this amazing moment happen. This tour will go down in history and show the future generation the power of good music. It removes all boundaries.
Amen brother
@@talkaboutmetalstuff350 i don't want to be disrespectful but in my opinion, variety in music is key... So hardstyle is the way if we want to make beatiful but also brutal moments like these
And today he died
