for those who don’t know, ateez have always had a pirate concept. the man wearing the fedora at the beginning (we call them halateez coz they first appeared in hala hala) is an ally if you read the story in their fireworks album. the hourglass given to hongjoong is called the ‘cromer’ which allows ateez to go into a different timeline or dimension. so the theory here is that since during the introductory stage ateez were in a shipwreck, halateez warned past hongjoong about it and gave him the cromer to prevent it to happen. that’s why they were preparing for battle inside the ship at first, killed the kraken then celebrated their win after. ofc this can be wrong but this just shows that they really took the time to integrate ateez’s storyline from the start of their career to their kd perfs so pls atinys let’s take this seriously and give them what they deserve. go vote in whosfan & stream the full ver! and for non-atinys reading this i hope this just made you appreciate this iconic stage even more :)

As a music student and multistan I have a few things to say. 1 jongho is very young so the fact that he can hit a b6 or 7 I haven’t checked in the 4th octave is amazing. 2 mixing Dvorak’s symphony 0.9 to the new world into wonderland was a genius move and the stage presence with inspo from the most well renowned pirate movie is definitely a heart stopper
The glow in the dark dancers with woo young were supposed to be jellyfishes. The stage behind the certain is supposed to be "under the water" that's why the CGI is blue and the kraken is underwater, notice how the front of the ship (main stage) has red CGI and waves on fire is "above the water". ATEEZ you are insane for this!! Very throughout planning and details, and the whole performance was perfectly-balanced as if we went on a whole journey in 5 minutes. The song arrangements are insane as well. ATINYs are we proud?? OF COURSE.

ATEEZ KNOWS THEIR CLASSICAL MUSIC!!! Idk if it was intentional, but they used the 4th movement of both Dvorak and Beethoven 's 9th symphonies in Kingdom to remix their music. The 9th symphony is both composers's last symphony, and the 4th movement is the final movement of both symphonies. It's some of both Dvorak and Beethoven's most well know works and a culmination of their lifetimes's experience. It is absolutely amazing how perfected they incorporated these excerpts into their own music. As a Kpop fan and a classical musician I've never been prouder to see these two genres come together in such a magnificent display. Mad respect to Ateez for mixing classical music into Kpop in such a cohesive manner, everything sounds like they belonged together.
They had a behind the scenes on Kingdom of how they ended up blending these classical pieces into the song. It's really interesting if you want to check it out.
This is what I’m saying I listen to classical and K-pop and for this to sound this good is props to hongjoong for producing this amazing sounding track

Even as a mulfan, I've already known that jongho is the best main vocalist of 4th generation of kpop. But the shocking part is he used his "weapon" in the first stage like this. It was like ateez have told us that they're meant to win.
Ateez - didn't sleep for 2 days, went to film Show champ right after Kingdom 30h filming, had a cb and a drama filming at the same time, had only 2 days to practice for this stage, were given the smallest room with chairs, voted 5th on the introduction stage, they deserve it! I am so proud! Let's give them back and support them by voting and str3aming!
I was mad when I saw their room gosh it was like mnet forgot ATEEZ was even part of the show and then gave them a store room when they realised. Other groups had a sofa and a table atleast. ATEEZ had only 7 goddamn chairs

It was the best of em all with the concept, the kraken, Jongho's 4th octave high note, Seonghwa's hot gun move and shot, hongjoong's fur coat and the aggressive choreography and the Mashup with the orchestral symphony just perfect!
And twoho with his sweepsweep move and jump and catch the sword thingy!! And yeohwa woojoong fighting the black enemy squad!! And of course san presence :)

im not a fan but GODDAMN jongho belting that high note brought me to actual tears... People on Twitter are saying that ateez won because of a lot of props but didn’t you guys see how Hongjoong sacrificed his sleep and made an amazing mix of wonderland, ateez practiced so hard for the dance, amazing live vocals which you can clearly hear , Jongho high notes he was shaking while performing and was on point, Seonghwa and Wooyoung acting, then Yunho dance, ateez expressions, Yeosang amazing stunts, Jongho spinning ateez tallest member Yunho like a beyblade and doing high notes, everything was done on point but we are going to ignore this all and say ateez won because of having a lot of props just great
Ikr . They literally worked their ass off . Im not an atiny or in any fandom. I just watch Kingdom because i love watching survival show. But ateez is the one who stood out the most this week. They getting my vote ! About the props, tbh they dont really have a lot of props . It just the kraken and the pirate stairs thing. Besides, I saw someone posting it on twitter that they recycled all the props and the budget not even over 5M won. So good job ateez! Love their energy , dancing, singing skills and stage presence. Especially the leader, he is so charismatic and humble.
Hah, same feeling on this. I wasn’t into Kpop at all but needed something fun and simple to watch during the spring break... my friend told me about Kingdom and coming from no corner for any of the bands, I can say that after watching HongJoong stayed up late researching ideas and remix I was hooked on Ateez and rooting for them!

I'm actually a SKZ fan but this was absolutely amazing! I really appreciate all the other groups work. They all obviously work so very hard. I have loved every single one of this 2nd round. All groups have really lifted their game. I have to say I may have even liked this better than Stray Kids - shhhhhhhhh.........

Came back to re-watch Kingdom performances and I've got to say ATEEZ have excellent visual storytelling and stage direction in their performances. Like the message and the story is clear from start to finish and it's really well executed

ATEEZ KNOWS THEIR CLASSICAL MUSIC!!! Idk if it was intentional, but they used the 4th movement of both Dvorak and Beethoven 's 9th symphonies in Kingdom to remix their music. The 9th symphony is both composers's last symphony, and the 4th movement is the final movement of both symphonies. It's some of both Dvorak and Beethoven's most well know works and a culmination of their lifetimes's experience. It is absolutely amazing how perfected they incorporated these excerpts into their own music. As a Kpop fan and a classical musician I've never been prouder to see these two genres come together in such a magnificent display. Mad respect to Ateez for mixing classical music into Kpop in such a cohesive manner, everything sounds like they belonged together.
They had a behind the scenes on Kingdom of how they ended up blending these classical pieces into the song. It's really interesting if you want to check it out.

It was the best of em all with the concept, the kraken, Jongho's 4th octave high note, Seonghwa's hot gun move and shot, hongjoong's fur coat and the aggressive choreography and the Mashup with the orchestral symphony just perfect!

People on Twitter are saying that ateez won because of a lot of props but didn’t you guys see how Hongjoong sacrificed his sleep and made an amazing mix of wonderland, ateez practiced so hard for the dance, amazing live vocals which you can clearly hear , Jongho high notes he was shaking while performing and was on point, Seonghwa and Wooyoung acting, then Yunho dance, ateez expressions, Yeosang amazing stunts, Jongho spinning ateez tallest member Yunho like a beyblade and doing high notes, everything was done on point but we are going to ignore this all and say ateez won because of having a lot of props just great

Ikr . They literally worked their ass off . Im not an atiny or in any fandom. I just watch Kingdom because i love watching survival show. But ateez is the one who stood out the most this week. They getting my vote ! About the props, tbh they dont really have a lot of props . It just the kraken and the pirate stairs thing. Besides, I saw someone posting it on twitter that they recycled all the props and the budget not even over 5M won. So good job ateez! Love their energy , dancing, singing skills and stage presence. Especially the leader, he is so charismatic and humble.

I wasn’t into Kpop at all but needed something fun and simple to watch during the spring break... my friend told me about Kingdom and coming from no corner for any of the bands, I can say that after watching HongJoong stayed up late researching ideas and remix I was hooked on Ateez and rooting for them!

ㄹㅇ 이 무대가 2차경연 무대 이후로 이어지는 스토리인것도 대박임 지금까지 1,2차 스토리 종합해보면 미래의 에이티즈(검은 모자해적단)가 살고있는 원더랜드(또다른 평행세계, 시간대는 미래)에는 노래와 모든 예술이 통제된 사회(디스토피아)가 되었고, 미래의 에이티즈가 그런 세상을 바꾸기 위해 금고를 털어 과거의 에이티즈에게 모래시계(시간을 상징)와 지도를 건네주고 .. 과거의 에이티즈는 미래의 에이티즈(미래의 자기 자신)에게 받은 모래시계와 지도를 통해 미래를 바꾸려 크라켄을 처치한다던가 계속해서 모험을 떠나는 중인 것 같음
3차 경연에는 이 다음 스토리가 이어질 듯함.. 8회 예고편에 보이듯이 빌런인 흰 가면 쓴 애들하고 마주하고등등 아무튼 흰가면 쓴애들이 향후 음악과 예술을 탄압하게 되는 흑막인 것 같음

에이티즈는 솔직히 성적, 인지도 제외하고 실력만 보면 4세대 넘어서까지 탑 먹을 수 있음... 에이티즈 안무를 소화하면서 에이티즈 노래를 라이브로 부르고 거기다 n단고음하는 메인보컬까지 있는데 말다했지
진짜 춤, 보컬, 비쥬얼 각각 특화된 팀들은 많은데 에이티즈가 이 세가지 밸런스를 봤을 때 제일 좋고 빠지는게 없음 물론 8명 전부.... 거기에 프로듀싱까지 하잖음.. 존멋탱

@@이름성-c6n 솔직히 아미에이티니로서 실력 자체는 종호가 더 잘하긴 함. 방탄은 음색이 좋음. 그리고 춤이랑 랩 표정이 아이돌 탑인데 얘네도 거의 그 급. 근데 왜 그거에 비해 덜 뜨는지 모르게씀. 코로나 때문도 잇는듯

Came back to re-watch Kingdom performances and I've got to say ATEEZ have excellent visual storytelling and stage direction in their performances. Like the message and the story is clear from start to finish and it's really well executed
