I'm not spamming, I just wanted to ask both of you in the comment sections: How would you recommend creating a photo realistic three-dimensional city and sky in Apple motion? For my next film project I will be using miniature airplanes and I want to fly them over a three dimensional city at night. I used Mocha by Boris to clean up my miniatures wires, but I now need to manipulate environment now. Thank you so much in advance!!!
Great series. Please keep sharing how we can use Motion to the fullest. I think if you keep showing how we can replace After Effects with Motion that would be awesome.

I love that you've been hyping Apple Motion. Its honestly grossly underrated without a nearly as strong of a support system as something like after effects, but I'm blown away how many things it does and how well it integrates with FCPX! Keep it up!

You guys have just cemented the fact that I’ll never use Motion. Yikes! Way too complicated. I’ve never seen so many drop-down menus and buttons. It is fascinating to watch you Dylan.
I watched a video of yours. "Dear Matti, you're using Final Cut Pro wrong" okay you have some good points. May I make a suggest on your video for that video. Your audio is very low and hard to hear. Do you check your audio levels on the timeline when you're editing? Even this video has audio level problems. I have to turn my speaker volume to watch your video. A lot of RUclipsrs struggle with sound and can't get the sound right by looking at their audio level while editing on the timeline. Go watch Joshua Mayo. His audio is very well done. I'm guessing if you can offer people feedback on their videos. You should open minded to make your videos better. I give suggest to other RUclipsrs who need to fix their sound problem, too.
@@jeremyaficionadoFR Also some is music is too loud over him talking at the beginning of his video which makes it harder to understand him and not using a good microphone.
After Effects also costs $22 a month standalone, or $70 a month with Adobe CC. Motion is $50 one time. I bought this app 12 years ago and haven’t paid a dime more for it. After Effects is definitely more powerful, but Motion can do 75% of what After Effects can do at an infinitely cheaper cost. Also performance is far superior in Motion.
@@TheFinalCutBro I just noticed that v5.7 has recently been released. I'm curious to know if the bug with the two-finger swipe gesture being very, very slow is still present. Or maybe the developers have fixed it?

Apple's docs on writing plugins is sometimes a bit lacking. Definitely subscribing to The Final Cut Joe! Just what I needed.

I would love to use motion but not sure how to send a clip from FCP to Motion, add the effects and return it to FCP.
