They need to do a full hymn album. Their Christmas album is probably my favorite thing ever, and when they go into Come Thou Fount at the end of Valley reprise 👌.

    Brother, forgive me
We both know I'm the one to blame
    When I saw my demons
I knew them well and welcomed them
    But I'll come around
    Someday
    Father, have mercy
I know that I have gone astray
    When I saw my reflection
It was a stranger beneath my face
    But I'll come around
    Someday
    When I touch the water
They tell me I could be set free
    So I'll come around
    Someday

There is nothing more that I want than for them to cover the entirety of Come Thou Fount... gosh, after hearing the end of Valley Reprise, I just want an entire album of hymn covers!

Just listened to the studio version twice then came here for a live version. They finished it humming the tune of Come thou fount....I am a happy man. 🎈😋. God bless you!

A folky indie Texas band that breaks into Irish music, followed closely by a hymn? You've got to be kidding me.

Brandon Short I think there are the same people... look at the violin guy, the concertina guy. I think I saw them from other shows :)

As a Texan, it sounds like home. Celtic music is very close to bluegrass and country. And gospel.

I really like this group, having found them on RUclips just a week ago. I have watched a couple of more recent videos, and I am glad that the fiddle player is now using an acoustic violin. The electric violin in this piece does not have a good tone.

+Nathan Petronzio Yes, it's not typical praise music but it's very Christian.

      +Justin Moore That was unnecessary.

+Justin Moore I've been to live performances by folk bands from all over the world including India, China, Europe, Slavic States, Taiwan, Korea, South & Central America, Africa... and there is always at least one instrument out of tune. It bothered me for years. "Why can't they tune their instruments before the show?" I always thought. But then I realized with large groups and under performance conditions, it's hard to get everything perfect. No sense fretting about it or letting it bother you. Just enjoy it for what it is, a soulful and heartfelt rendition of a song they wrote for us... for me. And if you ever go to a folk music show where the instruments actually are all in tune, and the people all sing in tune, well count yourself blessed for the stars have aligned to make magic happen.
