- Former Victorian premier Daniel Andrews went on a “tantrum” in his first public interview since leaving politics, says Sky News host Rita Panahi.
Ms Panahi said the former premier was “blabbering on” about doing what needed to be done and how proud he was of his legacy.
In an extended interview on the Socially Democratic podcast, Mr Andrews slammed Sky News Australia’s “after dark bulls**t” as well as suggestions he was a “control freak” during his time as state leader.
“He seems to be utterly in denial about the angst that he’s receiving in retirement,” Ms Panahi said.
Outgoing Ombudsman Deborah Glass handed down a report revealing the Andrews government instilled a “culture of fear” and the public sector had been politicised.
Andrews , a violator of human rights , and he reveled in it , a violator of the Australian constitution .

The system is meant to have independance, many individuals representing the constituents of the elctorate, those people are allowed to make a party of like minded people to for a Government, but they are not allowed to govern for the Party. Just think what our parliament woukd look like if level headed people who were solely accountable to the people of of their electorate woukd look, no more party politics, no more corruption, no more back door deals, as all criminal activity is monitored by the electorate.
Technically, at the election after the red shirts affair, Andrews was under investugation by Vicpol, that made him in eligible under federal law to have his name on any ballot paper, only the honest shall be allowed a place in our parliament, and Andrews honesty was in question, he was ineligible to run for his seat of Mulgrave until well after the election.

Dan Andrews became Premier of Victoria in December 2014 and resigned in September 2023....just shy of 9 years. In 2014 the 5.44 million Victorians had a per capita debt of $3500 or just over $19 Billion. The projected Victorian budget deficit for the 2026-27 period will be in the region of $239 Billion or $22000 per capita. The 2023 per capita debt is $15000.
This information is important because money talks. More people need to hear this.
