Dan M - I think Tongans are very gutted about the last minute and the ref's decision. We aren't really fans like other "fans" in that to some degree we are all inter-related to each other and to the players. So the fact that players like Fifita are left sobbing at the end of it hurts as if it was a family member .... hence the marches in Auckland ... and Tongans venting on social media. These players who opted to play for Tonga for $30 will end up ahead in the long run. Quite sure that for the rest of their lives and possibly their descendants - they will get $$ from random Tongans on the street. As for the English team - I have tickets to a final that I am boycotting. All the best to them. They seem lovely. 😁😁🤗

He was a missionary back in the 1800s with obviously great linguistic ability. Translated the Bible.. made new hymns and translated older hymns into Tongan. That's why when the English fans sang Guide me I though Great Jehovah (bread of heaven) Tongans joined in lol.... still hurts but all good
