After taking a break from the social scene I think I've sort of met someone who's a prospect but I don't want to get my hopes up to yet. You know what they say about that: reassess your priorities which is really code for lower your expectations. That way it doesn't hurt as much when it doesn't work out.

This is officially one of my fave songs atm, I just feel like living and falling in love when I listen to this.
Yes! The song absolutely captivates what it feels like to fall in love. I guess it's an overwhelming sense of happiness and joy listening to the lyrics. The bounciness of the arrangement and the amorous lyrics just fill my heart up with such an almost indescribable feeling. On a personal note, I've met a really wonderful person that we're just friends right now and I have my hopes measured but positive. Keep your fingers crossed!

I had never heard of Heartstopper or the graphic novels on which it was based. I've since done a deep dive and watched the entire first season at least a dozen times. It's beautifully acted and the story develops like a real relationship. The actors have such great chemistry with each other from the moment they say “Hi.”
Coincidentally, before learning of the existence of Heartstopper, I had written my own gay romantic comedy/drama right before I discovered the Netflix series. This would be the ideal song for the end scene where the male lead finally realizes his true love has been in his life the entire time. More accurately, where he realizes the friend, that he's known for years, is the one for him.

I met Sunflower Bean on after the February 9th, 2019 where they opened for Interpol at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee, WI. Julia and the gang have grown so much since then! They're amazing and passionate musicians and this is my favorite song of theirs to date! I'd LOVE to see them live again! Such a rad group!
