I'm also 6'2 (and a half) and I've been curious if I would fit in this car. Well, it looks like I wouldn't exactly be comfy. I'm wondering if different seats would help.
I’ve been wanting an S660 for sometime now, but at 6ft height is still my biggest concern - maybe with some lower profile seat rails I’d sneak in a bit more comfortably. If I did I’d be moving from an ND RF MX-5, just reluctant to pull the trigger in case it doesn’t work out.
@@SomeOne_86considering they are a grey import, dealers would be limited to maybe a few in the country as demand is probably not massive. Cars from Japan (where this one is from) would be the ones to ask, but yes, test-drives are a normal part of purchasing a car in Australia.
I have an S660 as my daily and I'm 6' 2" (190cm). I fit fine, I have the seat a bit more laid back so I don't have any issues hitting the rollbar with my head. The only thing you really have to get used to is the low position, you have to be in good shape to easily get in and out of it. And I don't think lower-profile seat rails exist or would even work, the seat is basically on the floor. Moving on from an MX-5, you do lose all practicality. Where are you located? If you're close you can have a drive in mine!
@@MotiveVideo oh but they do , why else would a Mugen edition exist? The best track car is one that's expendable and the s660 most certainly is cheap enough for that.
JDM isn’t compatible in North America. K Cars are just too scaled down for the US, they are designed to circumvent Japanese taxes. To make this proper for the US Honda needs to do this with a two liter inline four, that is slightly larger than this K Car, it would sell like the MR2 … there is a market for this traditional Ferrari setup with a 6 speed manual transmission that requires a clutch.
Great camera angle, Watching the word Honda saying peek a boo through the engine bay cover when the engine is under load!
I wish Honda makes a version for North America. Very beautiful car.
SO jealous! Andrew gets to drive the sickest cars!
As the owner of a Honda Beat & a Suzuki Cappuccino I'd love one of those, there are some great body kits for them as well,
日本で水色のHonda s660に乗っていますが、本当に楽しい!

Imagine a slightly larger version with a k20. Now that's a killer combo
Saw one of these on the road the other day in the same colour. Looked awesome.
@@MorrrrriesI saw one driving on the highway somewhere in Pennsylvania. I was shocked how this person got this car into the country.

Can't you test drive one? I don't live in Australia so I'm not sure how accepting are dealers of that kind of thing.

So Goood. S660 FTW along with a lot of Kei cars
Baby NSX
being 5'7" does have its perks sometimes. imagine doing a GR yaris motor swap in that 🤔
Or a superbike engine. 200hp at 14.500RPM, with a sequential.
How about ninja h2?
@@hiki_neat315 I like the way you think lol.
Yeah, or a Hayabusa engine like they put in Cappuccinos.
@@eugene9852 They use them in hillclimb cars that are quite a bit bigger than this, and probably the same weight or heavier with no issues.
Peeping the grey r34 in the background screaming for a drive Andrew!!
these are awesome i reviewed a hks upgraded one on my channel a few weeks back its amazing i would totally own one
See a white one in the neighborhood. Looks nice! Do a google for the Mugen version... nuts.
Holy crap it's actually so small I never realized 😂
We need to see an AZ-1 here.
Kswap it would be awesome.
i cant wait for this car to be legal for import to the states
That's a cool little honda
i love beach boys.
This would be nice for myself at only 5'8 and one of my short friends even.
Need to review the lbwk one
Hi, is the rear spoiler motorised? Not many talk about it.
Yes it is, and its automatic! Comes up at 70kmh and goes back down at 35kmh. Never felt much of a difference in mine though.
Except this car isn't the smallest. The Suzuki Cappuccino is smaller by quite a bit
Imagine that with a K series swap
An I guys do a tunning video on a kei car please
isnt the az1 even smaller ?
How tall are you ;
We need this in the usa
I allways feel sorry for tall car guys
I loveeeee these cars so much.
I'm really angry with mother Honda, who never imported this car to Europe (Italy), with left-hand drive, I would have bought it immediately 😢
Not kai-car. It's KEI-CAR👺
Is this a dealership or importers whats the business name
Both. Cars from Japan
@@MotiveVideo thanks
And plenty of room in your lane... and parking is a breeze.
And you're probably gonna die when a 5ft 2in woman on her phone in a gigantic SUV hits you from the side.
I want 1.
cool car
I need it.
Just cut down your burgers and Americans can fit in it.
dude , you couldn't take this on track ...most tracks require that the drivers head remain below the roll bar with a helmet equipped. thats too bad.
Dont think anyone is buying it for track work.

Please bring this to India also.
