I love that her adjective for Druig is "independent," and not something more distrustful. Of course Makkari sees the positive in him while while the trailers want us to be unsure of his allegiance.

Lauren is so wonderful, she deserves all of the recognition she is receiving. she's amazing as TWD's Connie and I'm glad she joined the MCU.
@Stolen ©ontent™ The deliver was wrong. Ikaris is the one Eternal that woukd try to kill every Eternal that steps out of line. Ikaris is dutiful to the chore but his actions were always honorable regardless of how hard head.
The problem here is that the retconing of the story erases what make the Eternals Eternal and hence it makes death seem finite when it is not. In their world killing an eternal is a punishment not dead sentence which is why they have no problem killing each other and by removing that they made the characters mortal which is why Ikaris hide his action something he would never do.

out of all the speedster we got in any movie, the way she uses her power is the most creative and exciting for me
Best Marvel movie from a storytelling perspective since Endgame I don't know what the hell critics were watching the character development is great, the action choreography is amazing, fast-paced and fluid and visual shots are stunning. Icaris and Sersi character arcs are really well done and the rest of the actors put up great performances as well plot twists are incredible, lore is interesting, the film takes time in the middle to touch philosophical elements of human experience, flaws of humanity like killing and corruption and the aspect of if humanity is worth saving and according to critics this is pacing issue which it isn't character development, lore and world-building is important in any movie with any real value the critical reception to this movie compared to empty action flicks with little depth like Captain Marvel or Force Awakens that get perfect scores while this is panned shows why we can't have any more movies with good character development and storytelling people prefer to watch only explosions and action with no depth during the entire runtime over it sad times with generation with no attention span. This movie is 10/10 in terms of Marvel standards love mature storytelling love deep philosophical themes and love most of the characters watch it and judge for yourself instead of listening to critics blindly.
@@JokerOP. Right. It was epic and brilliant. The kind of movie I always look for. I got emotional attached to each of them. And understood everything, especially about not interfering the Endgame battle with Thanos and IW's snap, which actually helped delayed the emergence of Eternal's new celestial.
@@JokerOP. agreed, its hard to take rt seriously at this point. Maybe its because there is no big CGI fight at the end, but then, when it does they still say typical marvel tho😂.
Unpopular Opinion: I like Druig, hes somehow kinda relatable, not too strong but unique in his own way.
@@nunhlimaralte9919 people nowadays are like that. Complain about everything. Maybe the word is hypocrite, but it's too harsh a judgment.
Anyway, Eternals is definitely my top 1 MCU movie of all time. I love every characters, especially Makkari and Druig, as well. I just hope we could see more of Gilgamesh, Salma's Ajak, and Ikaris (if he really died at the end) another time.
And about diversity, it really went well, in fact, it wasn't focused at all. Everything just blended perfectly. I can't see why people are complaining about too much diversity-oriented.

Watched it today. Tears of happiness. One of the most beautiful and deep-minded movie I've ever seen. Makkari is not good, she's the best.

@Stolen ©ontent™ Firstly dude put a spoiler in ur comment. Secondly the Ikaris twist makes perfect sense. Since he was meant to lead after Ajak she tells him and so he distances himself and that does something to someone. Arishem created them. What's the point of going against him? Ikaris knows they were created for one purpose and one purpose only and to prevent them from carrying out their purpose is just stupid.
@Stolen ©ontent™ Think about it. Ajak was going against their purpose, against their creator. Arishem could permanently destroy all of them if the eternals defy him. It's like (if you believe in God) going against God to an extent. Alot of people aren't gonna do that, no matter what is happening. Ikaris spent no time with humans so he has no attachment to them either. I'm not saying what he did was right but its certainly understandable

This is one of the most beautiful promos Marvel Studios has ever pulled off! I'm extra excited to watch the movie now!
Already placed Eternals into my personal top tier MCU and all kind of movie. As someone who love superheroes,mythology,anthropology,cultures. This movie is what I'm living for. Most importantly the casts gave me a really (dysfunctional) family unit feeling. which draw me to the movie quickly. This movie is EPIC.
ps. Makkari using her power in various ways with speed.

She's definitely the fourth TWD cast member to appear in the MCU.

I didn't watched the movie yet. But I love Makkari already. She's beautiful and energetic..
First viewing, I was perplexed, didn't know what to make of it. Second viewing, I truly loved the film. It is deeply moving and intelligently made. The acting is not overdone and the imageries are beautiful. I really hope the entire cast comes back for the sequel. I would watch this cast over and over again.

I just came back after watching this movie. I'd say it's a solid 6,5/10, not as bad as people say. Acting is good. Wish the characters had been fleshed out more. Stay for the mid-credits scene.

Just watched Eternals and I don't know what the complaints were about but, the movie is amazing. It's a 9/10 for me!!!
Awesome fight scenes, great characters and explained the lore of the MCU and expanded it too! I can't believe how they tied this to Endgame too, have to watch it again.
Only downside is that, well, it takes time to get to know each character better, as much it could since they are still new characters but all of them are lovable in their own way. My favourite has to be Makkari, Ajak, Gilgamesh Ikaris and Thena.

Yes I agree with you. This is really a great movie. I don’t see why people are hating it. I will not give any spoilers but the only problem I saw with this movie was they were trying to tell too much story in 2 hour 37 minutes. Of course so you can't really connect with the 10 characters in such a short period of time. It is bound to happen. But I dont see it as a big problem

Character development was lacking in some areas - e.g. Kro, Thena. I really feel there was wasted potential there.
Have to say that Ikaris was definitely my favourite - his development was awesome

I think that's the problem. They tried to do something different and deviate from the MCU formula. Which kudos to them and Chloe Zhao for wanting to do something different. But I dunno, man. I just feel the movie dragged on and on for a little too long. It's not until the Ikaris heel turn that things finally get good. People just want to have fun when watching MCU films. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

This one instantly became my #1 favorite alongside Shang-Chi, I'm loving the colors, the stories and the actors, and I'm hoping Marvel keeps it up with this new style, very different from what we've seen but I love it.

I don't understand why critics disliked this movie. Honestly I really enjoyed it. I gave it a 9/10. The movie was definitely different compared to other Marvel movies but it was a great movie nonetheless.

I think it makes a lot of sense, that she is a deaf speedstar because she breakes the sound barrier so often it always would burst hear eardrum. I mean the best example for that ist X-Men Quicksilver who wars headphones to protect his ears. It's just my opinion, but I think a deaf speedstar makes so much sense. And I just love Makkari, she is funny, lovely also a little sarcastic and I love her and Druig so much. I hope I will see more from her
