@Glen Vermette, Big Canuck, Metalmlo0352 - the likelihood is that each of you need to change your printheads in order to resolve the issues being presented. The printer will sometimes keep attempting to find a perfect colour alignment print and unless you change the printheads it sometimes get into a loop where every time you switch the printer on/off it will check again and keep going. A classic issue.
+Jordan Ziehl You just need to replace the printheads which have failed first - as evidenced by the gaps in the printhead alignment printout. but it is normally worth investing in a full set of printheads anyway just in case the remaining printheads fail in quick succession (to save on time/shipping costs).
@Samuel Create the colours of your DJ100 using either excel or word and then print. This will give you a clear indication as to which print heads are worn and creating problems. Once you change a print head it will perform a calibration. If not just run the colour test again.
There is no way to turn this off but you can press the cancel button. The reason this is happening is usually because the printheads need replacing but if you're only printing in black and don’t want to change the colours this will happen every time you turn the printer on.
My printer runs a sheet through then seems to run the alignment when I replace the sheet, However, the sheet comes out blank. The dates on the ink cartridges are 2011. Is my ink dried up, or is the problem elsewhere?
Hello! Yesterday I changed the magenta printhead, but my designjet 100 is not printing at all. It takes the paper, and plays with it a little, and spits it out and alerts me on the digital display that there is no paper. Feed the sheet...repeat same problem. Can you help me?
Hi, I have about 7 y.old Designjet 110 and tried to do head alignment. It only did the 1st page without any tick or cross and it feeds the page out through back. After that it restarts itself and brings up an error(79:04). Since then it does the same on every start-up.If I cancel the alignment at the start-up,the error won't show.Did the firmware update but only when the error was't on,otherwise it doesn't communicate with the mainten.utility properly. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Hi, My printhead aligment doesnt pass every time(all 3 times),and when it pass it still print bad. In system maintenance it says that my Yellow and magenta kartriges are expired, but they are full about 50-70%, Should I buy new ones, will it solve the problem?
Hello. I hope you can help me. My "HP110plus r" always fails to align the printheads. I changed the print heads (very expensive) but the result is always the same, the heads are misaligned. What can I do?
+TheBangsamoro It's normally the rubber rollers that get smooth which then stop picking up the paper. Suggest you either get it repaired or consider upgrading this printer to the latest T120 which is around the £600 mark (prices fluctate). Contact either sales@hpplotter.co.uk or engineering@hpplotter.co.uk for further help if you are based in the UK.
Hello Luis - while you may have cleaned your printhead, you may find that the reason you are missing lines is either because this was insufficient and you now need to replace it - or because of another issue with the printer - for example missing lines may be as a result of a damaged trailing cable. The cheapest option would be to replace your printhead first to avoid an engineering call - and if this doesn't resolve the fault then call in an engineer. You might also consider getting a quote to replace your printer and weigh up the cost of repair versus replace to get the best return on investment. A replacement printer in Spain may be around 600-800 euros so it's not so much (but you may want to review the Z2600 model if you're doing graphics printing!). Hope that helps. Best regards HP Plotter
cordial saludo despues de cambiar la tinta a mi plotter hp deskjet 130 ns no he podido alinear loscaruchos por favor me ayudas y si es en español mucho mejor. gracias
+Joe Beggy ----------- Hi Joe - Sometimes a part in the paper tray has broken which causes this issue. It really needs an engineer onsite to assess the problem. Simply email us on engineering@hpplotter.co.uk for a no obligation quote or telephone 0845 0770 787
@HPPlotter I sent you an email, but maybe it is marked as spam because you did not reply. PS:My kartriges are in use about 5years,because I dont plot so often. I repaired a link (just add 3*w in front of link) .dodaj.rs/f/2/gG/1puhZ5IJ/test-page-resize.jpg

+HP Plotter so to get my designjet 111 to stop printing these pages on power up I need to replace all the print heads?

The printhead alignment worked for me, thanks so much.
Hi. I have a 130nr and I'm wondering if there's a way to disable the automatic alignment when the machine turns on.

How do you stop the alignment proceess happening everytime the printer is switched on???

you said hold the power button down and press resume 3 times. what does 1 and 2 times do?
+SHUTTERDIAL1 Thanks for your comment. Time 1 = printer info; Time 2 = to reset your jetdirect card Time 3 = printhead alignment. Hope that helps!
I can not perform calibration because that option is inactive, how can i go about it?
My HP 110 Plus is not taking in the A3 paper when loaded in the input tray!!

+Nicola Bray Thank you Nicola. It was simply the tray was not full home!!
Sorted.
Joe.
Assuming you are talking about the inks, then it might be a firmware related issue - try updating your firmware.
