Bomb Review | Sonic Robo Blast 2

This is the first video I've uploaded in 2K, because I've been browsing the web and have seen people claim RUclips uses a better compressor for big channels that means quality isn't decimated as much. By uploading in 2K, you apparently bypass the system and get the better encoder regardless of channel size, so hopefully videos will look better even at 1080p/720p.

On how to use the "meme taunts"
In Singleplayer Offline: Bring up the command menu with ~ and type "say" for the command, then space and type the message for the character
Multiplayer/Server: (You can make a server and only have yourself if you want to test without using commands) Open chat (f) and just type the correct phrase/word into the chatbox
The words/phrases
Vector: die lit
Mighty: sexy
Heavy: pow
Bomb: cupcake
and outside the chaotix I know Mario's is "hey stinky".
I believe Luigi has one as well but I don't remember it
if you capitalize any letters I don't think it will work

The real difficulty of Bomb comes from trying to control yourself from blowing up every second. I just see a wall or big jump and I just wanna *presses buttons indiscriminately* WEEEEEEEEEEE!

I'd give Bomb's sprites a bit more credit. Most of them really feel like they're making the most of his basic character design, and I think they add a lot to how good it feels to blast across the level with him

2 things I want to change about bomb as someone who plays him a lot (he's lowkey one of my fav sonic characters lol)
1.) We all know heavy has the boxing gloves but bomb, does not. One thing i loved about bomb in the archie comics and even in hus menu sprite was how he emoted his personality with his hands since he has no face, always throwing up cool hand poses and putting his arms in expressive positions to kinda show his additude it was a very fun and smart way to give a faceless character a ton of emotion and it made it even better because he's an explosive so he could always pull off cool things and pose afterwards. The character mod has a few good poses im specifically a fan of his twirling when he explodes but i wish he posed a bit more, kinda like pulling some uekawa style hand and arm poses with each successful martyrdom (all of this applies to Heavy as well but less so since he seems more reserved and lumbering rather than small, agile and freeform like Bomb)
2.) I think his super form feels a bit bland not cause they don't remedy some of flaws but because it feels like they skipped out in an opportunity to turn a regular explosive into a volley of fireworks. Id love if hus super form allowed him to activate his explosions remotely without hitting a wall and give him 2 more in the air. So for example if you charge it up on the ground you can either hit a wall or explode remotely and once you are in the air you get 2 more (maybe shorter but super modes are all about being powerful so prolly not) exposions that carry you upwards and in the direction you are holding that one simple fix would allow him to feel like you are playing with fireworks the natural evolution of plain ol explosives (bonus points if you make his firey explosives also shoot off small firework-like sparks from the flames)
Those are my only real wants for a bomb change but i still love him as is and enjoy playing him immensely
