Nice one Ian, I will be chasing a power egg around the workbench this weekend too as I've found some better crank wheels for the D7. On the rear of your clutch, the spring and spring cup should be retained behind the circlip. You'll need a new spring cup as well as a circlip. Mine was worn in exactly the same manner. I had to make a top hat bush for the clutch basket as the bore in the basket tends to wear instead of the bush and sometimes a new bush doesn't cure the clutch wobble.
    I'm enjoying your progress.
    Best wishes, Dean.

Quite a few new parts required on the rebuild, poor old gal!

@@InTheShedUK looks in decent condition though, no nasty marks from years of bodging like mine had. I was impressed that your clutch cover hasn't been eaten by a primary chain too.

Hi Ian, great video, in the recent part 2 things came apart in the wrong sequence - the cup shaped ratchet spring retaining washer should be on the other side of the (mis-shaped) circlip so that the washer and spring stay with the clutch basket. It may be that the washer is worn and has popped over the circlip - my D7 had the same.

Yes cup and circlip both worn so the cup didn't come away with the basket as it should.
