- Ukraine compared Russia to the armed group ISIL (ISIS) after a video circulating on social media allegedly showed Russian soldiers filming themselves beheading a Ukrainian captive.
“There is something that no one in the world can ignore: how easily these beasts kill,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a video message.
“There will be legal responsibility for everything. The defeat of terror is necessary.”
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba also said: “A horrific video of Russian troops decapitating a Ukrainian prisoner of war is circulating online.
“It’s absurd that Russia, which is worse than ISIS, is presiding over the UNSC,” he said, referring to Russia’s Security Council presidency this month.
“Russian terrorists must be kicked out of Ukraine and the UN and be held accountable for their crimes.”
The Kremlin was asked about the video and said it was “awful” and its authenticity needs to be checked.

There's actually a great movie on Katyn forest massacre in 2007, another one is Nanking atrocities in China by the Japanese military of 200,000 - 300,000 Chinese people and soldiers in 1937 in 6 weeks.

Things like this if true could cost Russia all support. Russia made no convincing case to defend itself regarding Bucha and if they are seen to have done this they have definitely lost the war. And if it happened due to a lack of discipline and troops being out of control then responsibility should go all the way to the top. i.e. Putin, Shoigu, Gerasimov, Kaderov, and the Duma should bring forth criminal proceedings.

Your mistaken. The video you're referring to is during the Russian invasion of Chechnya and it was Chechnyans sawing off Russian conscripts heads that surrendered to the Chechnyans. They are now on the same side!!!!.

Nothing strange for the Russians whose allies Serbs, during the war in Kosovo committed some of the most monstruous crimes against civilians, women, children and elderly. In one case when Serbian forces stopped a convoy of civilians leaving their burning villages, a Serbian soldier took the four years old boy from his mother's hand and beheaded him in front of terrified mother and other refugees, after that they took another one and threatened to kill him if the refugees will not hand them all valuables. In another case Serbian paramilitaries killed three children from a family in central Kosovo by smashing their skulls with hammers. This horrendous war crime was even published in one western newspaper when their journalist managed to interview the Serbian paramilitary member after the war, as the Serbian monster declared, one of the children, the youngest one was dead after the first hit with hammer while for older one he had to hit him seven times until he died...And, yes, International community today blames the Albanians for not being ready to talk to Belgrade who never admitted the war crimes or any wrongdoing, never apologized to Albanians, who have the same political parties in power as during all wars and aggressions against their neighbors from former Yugoslavia, when Serbian forces committed the first Genocide in Europe after the WW2.
If it was not a true video of a Russian soldier committing this act of murder they would have already denied it when it first was shown to the public.

But there are hundreds of cases of Ukrainian soldiers executing surrendered Russian soldiers, there are hundreds of videos, there was even one of those crimes in which Ukrainian soldiers shot more than ten surrendered and unarmed Russian soldiers, there is another video where they humiliate them by stripping them, why you and Zelensky never condemned those crimes? you guys didn't even report that, you never talked about it.
