We weren’t allowed to use a red pen, but not because it showed negativity. Red is the main color our teachers used to correct papers, so they wanted us to differentiate their marks and writing versus our own.

I’m a last-year elementary schooler in 6th grade and one of the teachers and teacher assistants came up with this ridiculous rule where if you even stand during lunch you’d have to clean the cafeteria for most of recess (or whenever you get done. It takes a while cause the kids who come in the cafeteria after us are extremely messy.) I know this because I was forced to clean for almost the whole recess time JUST FOR TRYING TO THROW AWAY GOGURT. And the teacher assistant is strict af and it’s very likely that if whoever adult you asked to get up leaves the room then you’ll be punished for no reason
Nobody at the school likes this rule. Hell, even my dad hates it and wants to speak to the founders of this, “rule” about it

some people in my school for example were scamming others and stealing from each other for Pokemon cards, some started bullying, so the students started complaining to teachers a lot and so they took away everyone's Pokemon cards

My school has no locks on the lockers and it sucks :( people have stolen stuff out my locker and one time someone even took my school computer from my locker
In my school, the younger kids have most of their classes on the lower floor, and the older kids go upstairs. However, there’s this weird rule that if one of the older kids (eg: me) has to get to something that’s downstairs (like the school nurse, the PE hall, ect). I have geography downstairs as an expection (it’s on a corner of a corridor so nobody breaks the rule) and I felt REALLY sick during that lesson. A classmate lead me to the school nurse, and we were stopped by a teacher. Conversation went something like this (translated since I live in Poland):
Teacher: “You’re not allowed to go here!”
Classmate: “She needs to go to the school nurse”
Teacher: “OKAY AND? GO UPSTAIRS”
TDLR: Teacher forced me to take a longer path to the school nurse because of a random rule

My middle school (and maybe elementary, I can't remember) had some variation of the last one. My middle school also didn't allow backpacks. I think that there was also a rule in that middle school where you could only have clear bottles, so that you can tell if it has water in it.

In my school they dont take many things as a big deal like students can dye their hair, we can drink water whenever we want even in the middle of class. The only thing they really take strict is strands of hair of your face or open hair, you have to pony or braid your hair without the strands but bangs are okay.

It actually makes sense because Hitler did the things he did because he was in a way bullied by the artists at the art school he wanted to apply to. So, he was in a weird sense a victim of bullying. If the principal of that school banned complaining to teachers about being bullied, then that principal is indirectly creating more and more potential Hitlers for the future world. Bullying can turn some of the most cute and innocent children into psychopathic monsters that didn't have normal and healthy childhoods.

I remember my school banned any kind of touching, pokemon cards, tuck shirts and even banned board games from the library. You couldn't walk down corridors unless you were gonig to a lesson, office or toilet and school uniform. No jewlery, no makeup, no hair dye (since I am a boy, I didn't have to worry about that), you had to leave all your things in the locker room during gym (cell phones, handheld consoles, and many other valuables) and no gum, no soda, nothing too sugary and a website where parents could see behaviour records of their child. I'm glad to be free...

We immediately get 2 hours of detention for whistling, and not to mention we (the students) aren't allowed to have any physical contact with each other at all. I mean even if it's just a hand on your friend's shoulder you'll get in trouble. The school and staff are really strict, they'll write you up just for not having a hall pass and they constantly monitor the bathrooms. I understand why they monitor the bathrooms, but I don't want them standing right outside of the bathroom stall I'm in.
And does anyone else have staff come in and monitor them when you're getting changed for PE? It's honestly kind of annoying, and it's also annoying how only the girls have to have someone monitor them when they get changed. Like give me some air, I want time to cool down after doing the damn PACER test. I don't need you yelling at me for just sitting down, washing my face, and brushing my hair.

I’ve had a lot of stuff happen in 4th grade with Pokémon (pkmn) cards.
Around the middle of the year, people started getting into pkmn cards and started trading them. I have a full gold Lunala GX card and its the reason they are banned.
This card was really expensive (around $40) and people wanted it. Now the main card traders in my class were me and my friend. (we’ll call him John) Now the reason that a GX card got pkmn cards banned at my school is because i was talking to John and I left my binder on the back counter. A kid in my class thought it was a good idea to attempt to steal it. It was kinda like a game of Among Us. But John and my best friend (JK-Goat VR on RUclips) saw him running from the scene like an imposter running from a dead body. Now the bell had rung for the end of the day and he ran away. I thought I lost it. But I didn’t. I told my teacher and she got the card back to me. Literally 8 days later hid did the same thing with a rainbow VMAX of mine. But he didn’t have pockets so he gave the card to John to hold it for him. John gave me back the card and we went home. My parents (furious that this keeps happening) made a note to the teacher. Now the teacher has a talk with us and the thief isn’t allowed to leave the room unless he has to go to the bathroom. Even then the teacher has to walk him down the hallway. So they’re banned because the teachers hate angry parents. Now if cards are seen, the principal will confiscate them but it isn’t confiscated for the rest of the school day, it’s confiscated PERMANENTLY. Like who would do that? Commit a crime (theft) from a child? My friends have lost expensive cards because of this. And what do they do with them? Most likely sell them. Don’t you think this is ridiculous?
Im really sure that you can freely sue the school for the 'permanently confiscated' (or the better word : stolen) cards

Or you can just say "I don't believe you, I think you're just pranking me unfairly to feel guilty, but I'm not that thick." to the teacher who thinks you're guilty. And if he/she says that what you said counts as an excuse, tell them that giving punishment is literally also an excuse for you to agree with them.

My elementary school had a hidden corner that we called the “Pokémon Black Market” where we would go every recess to trade cards. People started stealing cards and the teachers were tired of not being able to see us while we were at the Black Market so my school banned Pokémon cards.
