A Noel for Today
Eighty years ago, jazz musician Alfred Burt and his father, the Rev. Bates G. Burt, established a tradition of composing a carol each year as a gift to be shared in a Christmas card with friends and family.
The Burts' example has inspired brothers Paul and John Rausch to combine their respective love of music and words to present this first in an annual series of Christmas carols. We hope it will make the holiday's blessings sparkle even brighter.
The carol is performed by Paul's talented son Scott.
