I suspect its a micro nutrient deficiency... She said she's been farming for some years before this happened all of a sudden so it makes sense... Plus she's been kind of monocropping the okra... It could be one of these nutrient deficiencies: Iron, Magnesium, Molybdenum, Potassium, Manganese or Zinc... She may have to fallow the land and introduce some aspects of regenerative farming to her cultural practices.... All in all... very inspiring lady... If this woman is doing this successfully then no one has any excuse.. You're either serious about farming or not.
Organise yourselves into a co-operative and contact Agric Officers and National Board for Small Scale Enterprises in your district, they can help facilitate linkages to a good market for you.
Mobilize yourselves and go to your various local Markets within your district and perhaps beyond, get the attention of the women and men selling out there, engage them convincingly on your various prices and reasons why they should buy from you.
Please the okra you dry them them make it okra powder and then package it and sell. The dry okra powder is highly demand in Europe. Am in Germany and they love it
she should plant some of the same seeds at a different place and give it a GAP, if the problem persist the the seeds is infested by virus and has to discarded fo a disease-free seeds. if not she should keep a good icpm routine and applying mancozeb to control fungal infections.
Am planning to move back to Ghana but I want to enter into farming and I don't know how, where to get a farming land land to buy. At least 20 acres. Any idea please??? In fact anywhere in Ghana.
First of all make plans for what ever you want to plant. Are you going into farming crop only or mix with animal? Eastern region is perfect because rain usually falls at the region. I think western region too. Start with small and then season by season you can increase or expand based on your experience. It’s always better you are there your self to monitor it. Try to have some knowledge on it too. ❤❤❤❤
@@babamusah3455 hi baba.i'm a farmer in Agona Abodom in the central region. The land in my area is very fertile .I can help you buy one and also take care of it for you.l have over 20years of farming experience.tnx
What types of seeds and chemicals does she using in the garden, is it organic or GMO seeds and chemicals , if she wants to see better results in the farm she must stop using gmo products ! Unfortunately GMO is already in the market all over the world and people are using it without knowing it, GMO going to make food on the planet more worse a lot of people are going to die from eating food that contains GMO And a lot of farmers are not going to be able to afford planting crops because GMO affects the crops, the environment and soil quality. By the looks of the plants in her farm that’s the effects of GMO
