- A massive new roller coaster from Vekoma will rise from the forest floor and the ashes of corona by April 2022. Fønix (Phoenix) will rise 40 metres into the air - and extend majestically into the forest - in Denmark’s longest loop ride. Fønix will be the undisputed fastest bird in any Danish forest with a top speed of 95 kilometres an hour.
Fønix will be the first roller coaster in the world to feature a “stall loop” - a spectacular world first element combining the all-time favorite classic looping with the inverted stall into one new unique element. In this new element the train is forced into an overhead position by half a loop followed by an inverted camelback where the riders experience a period of 2.5 seconds of weightlessness before entering the second half of the loop combined with a twist.
If this becomes a thing, i'll go there in 2022
Construction has already started, it's definitely going to be a thing. Farup is a brilliant park with so many great rides.
Groundworks is in full action

You know it’s Vekoma Because of the zero-G roll through the station and looks better than velocicoasters layout
Velocicoaster is the best coaster in my opinion and as this looks great the layout is ok to where Velocicoaster elements are all original
Not sure all Velocicoaster elements are original, there are aspects that are very similar to Taiga, which for me was as close to perfection as a coaster can get. For example the Mosasaurus Roll looks like the inversion after Taiga's top hat. ruclips.net/video/mmvGd3rFsCI/видео.html
I'm certainly not knocking Veloci, as it has the potential to be better than Taiga because of the theming. Hopefully get to ride it by the end of the year to see how it compares to Taiga.
@@MarcusGainesCoasterTouring about 95% percent of them are
It looks more like the stall
Aww Lech Coaster has a little sibling!🥺
But which sibling will be the best. Roll on 2022
Little sibling? It's not smaller than Lech.
@@Jacob-Simonsen But it's younger
@@hehehoho390 but looks even better
@@Jacob-Simonsen haha yeah I just meant younger. It honestly looks like it could be better than Lech Coaster
This looks really awesome
Love the look of the stall loop
Fårup! I gør det SÅ godt! 😍😍😍
Kk bikin vidio nya Yang Kereta misteri Dufan aja kk
Have you seen our lights on POV we shot of Misteri?
next time i go there, i'll try and make some footage of construction :)
Be good to see how work is getting on with it.
Packs a lot in for such a tiny coaster - but could use more float!
It should have plenty of airtime. Benjamin the designer was the guest on the European Coaster Club Live event at the weekend and he explained that airtime was a key part of the layout. Fingers crossed he's right.
@@MarcusGainesCoasterTouring I know it can be hard to judge from a preview, but it looks like a lot of sudden turns, and a couple of subtle hops toward the end of the program.
But I'm biased toward things like Canada's Wonderland Behemoth, and New England's Superman in Mass.
Whats the difference between a vekoma wild cat and Bermuda blitz coaster?
The layout. The only Bermuda Blitz is Lech.
@@crashcoaster3852 They seem really similar, but what's the real difference? Since the layout reminded me of Lech.
@@LucasNinoMusic The layouts are nothing alike besides a few similar elements. Vekoma give each individual layout a different name; this is the Wildcat model.
