      They’re fluctuating like crazy 😭 there was 32gb 6000mhz CL30 kit that went down to £118 and that sold out within 2 hours and now the same kit went back up to £265 cause the previous store ran out

      @Jazzmaster1992 I got 32 gb kingston fury for 250, it was start of price increase, I could get 64gb for the same price a month earlier, now now, the same 32 gb i got is 600°°

    spending 800-900$ on a dead socket and with only 16gb of ram ... for a bit more you can easily do a 7500f + b650 + 32gb ram + 9060xt 16gb and have a MUCH better pc for the future.

    • @tallasianmike
      @tallasianmike 6 months ago +11

      i agree. I built an AM4 socket PC 2 years ago and it was only $400. But that's because I reused my 1080ti as 30 series were hard to get. But now with GPUs available. I would rather go a full build around a 9700x chip in AM5. The GPU is really the bulk of the cost.

      I just ordered everything for my PC using the Ryzen 9800 X3D & RTX 5080. Ended up spending $6400 after getting everything (desk, chair, mouse, keyboard, etc). It’s insanity, but I won’t have to upgrade anything for a very long time.

    • @AndyGrouch
      @AndyGrouch 5 months ago

      @jacobbeam1202In my country I got 9800X3D build just under 2500€. Some compromises needed to be made though. I wanted Nvidia card but had to settle to 9070xt. Also memory prices are insane so I had to settle for 32gigs with lower tier stick.

    Thank you TMT for your great video always. Could you please do a video for the best build for a Trading PC with at least 6 monitors, a lot of back testing and use of AI for strategy development as well as automation using APIs, Chat forums like Telegram, X and a bit of coding . Not sure what type of GPUs are good for this since you always focus on Gaming(would quad-core GPUs be bettersince trading uses 2D charts and have more ports for the extra monitors?). Not keen on price but best performance. Is there any advantage of using the E-ATX Motherboard in building a PC for trading? Thank you once again for the great work.

    I can personally say that even with a stable overclock of +400 mhz and +250 vram clock, the msi gaming trio 5080 runs at max 76 degrees celcius in cp2077. Truth be told, I have it inside a Lightbase 900FX with 6 140mm intake, 1 140mm exhaust and a 360 aio, but stil for such a high stable oc, these temps are phenomenal

    Hi, Mr.TMT, I have been enjoying and benefiting from your videos. Thank you for making these videos in your particular style and explaining concepts to your audience with succinctness and clarity. I myself work as a video editor. So, I am wondering if it's possible at all for you to make a similar video on video-editing PC builds. I personally would appreciate it if the builds in the video focus on how to make render caches in Davinci Resolve generate faster, while the timelines primarily involve 2D editing, instead of 3D. If you'd like to expand the target software beyond Davinci Resolve, I think that's great. But given how popular Davinci Resolve has been among youtubers and internet content-creators, I would expect a PC build guide specifically tailored for it to be well-received. Thank you very much and please stay mysterious.

    This video aged well, minus the ram and GPU pricing and availability.
    At this point your only options remain as the 9060, 9070, 5080 and the intel variants as budget options.
    Sorry folks, until the bubble pops you won't be getting ram and GPUs anywhere near MSRP, most other electronics using ram chips as well.

That would definitely be something worth doing, especially since there really isn't a lot of information/builds in that department compared to gaming. P.S. I think for the budget builds Ryzen 5 7600 over i5-14400f makes more sense. AM5 mobos are cheaper on basically anywhere I see. DDR5 is getting cheaper and cheaper and the i5 also lacks iGPU for times you may need them. In fact, without the iGPU I do not believe there's much reaons to go with Intel nowadays since they won't have QuickSync, which is widely used on Adobe programs. Overall, I think Ryzen 5 just makes more sense.
