History will remember this man well for speaking against a tide of discrimination and totalitarianism, and doing so with compassion and truth.

Reflective doesnt mean being sad
He has been sick, and raised himself afterwards.
JazzyT.
He’s usually not like this, the interviewer was kinda ghastly
Better a cold truth than a hot lie.
I feel like "cold truth/hard truth" is often a term used by someone that takes pride in being a jerk. The truth is just the truth, it's not inherently cold. The coldness is in the attitude of the person speaking.
@@metalmayhem3622 Funny saying about feelings. Although, to be fair, I do take pride in my honesty, which admittedly, has had me looking quite the jerk from time to time. That being said, if you will allow me to define my own sentiment as I understand it, it’s more akin to, I would much rather be alone in the solace of the harsh truths loneliness is inevitably going to bring forward, than say, surrounded by false friends, and fast lovers.
@@tommygrayson9703 I agree for sure and I also take pride in my honesty, and am often seen as a jerk/asshole/caveman.
I just noticed a trend for awhile "I say the cold truth, maaaan!"
I mean, there's context. My honesty is often uncomfortable for me. Admitting my mistakes. Talking about my faults.
It's different than just calling people out on theirs.
But, yeah. Everyone in my immediate family are liars. I can't trust anyone's word and it's very frustrating.
He is less “agreeable” than others who would soften truths to ease tension. Or others that lie to fit in. The man is pure integrity.

Ty
He has just epic fashion sense. He always looks well put together.
I see it too. He is handsome
He is handsome, as being honest makes ones eye's shine with light
Worried about JP. He's so hard on himself and he can't save the world. Looks like he kinda checked out for a bit. Take care of yourself! We need you and Love you.
Because we all need to save the world
He was pissed in this interview because the interviewer was a dope.
Save who? Grifter poser and war apologist. We might just survive without his “help” thank you
His chilling truth gives me more comfort than a comforting lie
If everyone in the world gave the same effort as this man by being careful, cautious and smart. Life would be a blessing and so easy. This gentleman is a good man but the pain you see in his eyes is because he's in the minority. The majority of the people in the world are not as mindful as he is, most living on autopilot. That's why you can feel how tense he is. Because being surrounded by the opposite of you brings so much suffering, but you have to always give 100% so that hopefully the next generation would have more percentage of meticulous people. Thank you Mr. Jordan Peterson for being a great role model. Truly thank you. You give me hope for the future of humanity and life.
Gosh thinking of JP passing is heart wrenching, this man has such an immense impact on so many
Yeah, don't say that, wish him long life instead God willing he has a long way.
It’s so heartbreaking to me he seems to be very tired, sad and depressed here..
Yea I think it was a height of his problems. He's back better than ever tho.
He admits having anxiety and depression due to his profession and the plethora of emotions he studies on a daily basis. It’s draining and for him to be competent enough to speak so articulated just proves how well formatted he has the human philosophy in his mind. It’s a lot. Of course he’s not going to be ok.
When you are being asked "gotcha" questions like "when is the last time you lied?" By someone who is clearly ideologically possessed and only interested in interviewing you as a means of trying to "take you down" so they can receive the praise of their fellow ideologues, you tend to get sad lol. How could you possibly talk to these people all the time and not wonder "what's the point?" "Am I even making a difference?"
@@RoyArrowoodtalking to that woman who was trying to be smarter than him, and ataking him, put him in a defence mood. When you deal with people like that every extraordinary thinker feels a waste of time and disappointment for the world of madenes that exists in this world
He seems to have such a deep regard for artists and musicians , creative people generally . No one has ever changed my mind and thinking about myself and my life the way this man has done and in such positive ways .
Same. He helped me realize my art was a vocation, not a useless hobby.
He’s actually pretty hateful on twitter
@@markk8588this is probably sadly true. Professor Peterson is a great mind in Academia, however I can empathize with him on building up guard rails... The Musician Part... That's more profound than we realize
@@joshuamejia2496What do you mean by building up guardrails?
What a instrument oř music Is in background please?
He’s amazing. Legendary because he is honest, brilliant, and is calling out the stupidity and insanity in the world. A once in a lifetime champion of change.
"As someone honest" The best one ever 👌
And he is honest because no dishonest man would admit to lying.
You will be remembered as one of the bravest, honest and kindest men on earth .. ❤️
He is my virtual father.
😂has my virtual uncle❤
Regrets are essential to growth, anyone who says they don't regret anything is someone who isn't willing to learn.
I can’t get enough of watching him. He’s a true legend and should be honoured at the highest possible level.
I sure will remember you for the rest of my life Jordan. And you will be talked about for centuries.
know one remember that long, more come and gone. hes still incomplete inside despite all his knowledge and wisdom hence hes eyes are dull of tears. the complete are only those who achieved the ultimate reality n truth'.
one of them is Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. a scholar social worker and yet a philosopher
He will be remembered as a great man that inspired millions.
deffinitely you will be remembered to be honest and so courageous and so beautiful
I am new to Jordan and I just love his honesty, his vulnerability, his articulation, and his take on issues.
Welcome :) Be careful who you talk to him about. There are a lot of people out there who don’t like his message, simply because the truth scares them. Do me a favour, comment me back when one of your work colleagues or someone you know says “you actually like Jordan Peterson, why?”
@@jassspencer1082 well said
@@jassspencer1082what is his "message" may I ask?
@@samc2592 you are asking for a summary judgment on his entire teachings. However, I will make a just attempt. His message is one of individualism, objectivism and personal responsibility. Out of curiosity, why do you ask? Do you know much about him?
Everybody lies: the most honest answer.
At the beginning when the interviewer asked him do you lie? to which he replied “everybody lies”
And when asked the last question about how would he like to be remembered, he replied “as someone honest”
Am i missing something? Sounds little twisted in a diplomatic way.
(FYI - I admire Mr Peterson but this bit sounded contrarian)
@@ankurm26nikal
@@ankurm26 Right after "everybody lies" he paused and says "but I'm pretty damn careful." The host almost cuts him off though so maybe you didn't catch it. Does that help?
Integrity is so important - but we never hear the word anymore. Honesty.
Ooooof¡ This Man.🙌Truthful, smart, never ever claims perfection. Good Man right here. Thank you J.P👏👏
Truth never fails. This man will be remembered.
Truth fails when youre being manipulated. sometimes you have to mirror to wake someone up.
Wrong. If I don’t lie to my gf when she asks if a dress makes her look fat I’m a dead man lmao
This man has a place in my heart. I went to see him speak and both my mother and I said every second of hearing him was a joyous moment for us both. I hope this man knows just much he means to us all.
Trust me, he knows.
Can't hold anything but love for this person. Hope he can feel it from all the way over here
Why? Because he sells you the bullsht you want to hear? Why do you think they're always giving him a hard time to begin with? he's just a dbag fishing for ignorant fools to spew propaganda to.
Jordan Peterson is the real life equivalent of the people in the last scene of documentaries, where the end of it is kind of sad but it’s not supposed to be. I don’t know why I thought that, but I did.
I swear he is like the voice in my head that tries to keep all help from breaking loose
...or all "hell" breaking loose.
Lucky!!!!
“Everybody lies, but I’m pretty damn careful about it”. I love this
I can't explain how Peterson makes me feel. This is earth-core level impact. He is a genuine force for good on this planet.
He IS a star and trying NOT to force, but encourage (which still carries a darker side, but implementing values you impose on yourself is very difficult and hard & bitter). You actually HEAR him talk when you understand that (like a ringer). Now take the complete and utter totalitarian witchbitch he talks to and you see how little you will care for and about her complete powerplays in turn. Actually you'd smile with glee once she finally starts and doesn't stop bleeding, maybe even die...😃 (And she, or that, is after all gushing red) For all she does is manipulate, so as soon as you take the necessary control of such looming darkness you see him as he sits there. Actually entitled, namely, to be that darker way, when asked whether he lies. And shone with honesty and truth and shows actual gravitation (for he actually carries some weight!) as much as she craves answers, but completely lacks faith.
Same❤
His words are much deeper than people think
